Pro tips to help you make a pick

Pre-book a timed slot for any visit. It helps avoid on-the-day availability uncertainty, but it does not skip security checks or Skywalk harnessing.

Choose your product by time and interest: the Stadium Tour takes ~1–1.5 hours, Dare Skywalk ~1.5–2 hours, and a Tour + Skywalk combo needs about ~3–4 hours.

If you want behind-the-scenes access, book the Stadium Tour. It includes a multimedia/audio guide device; Skywalk tickets do not include the interior tour unless the product explicitly says so.

Book carefully around Spurs home matches, NFL games and concerts. Tours and Skywalks often do not run, or run with reduced access, on major event days.

Arrive 15–30 minutes early, especially for Dare Skywalk or Edge. Staff need time for ticket checks, bag screening, eligibility checks and harness fitting.

If anyone in your group is unsure about heights or has limited mobility, book the Stadium Tour instead of Skywalk Edge. Skywalk and Edge have age, height and weight rules that can change, so verify them at checkout.

If you want a multi-attraction day, compare combo products carefully, including options such as Stadium Tour + Dare Skywalk bundles and combos with the London Eye in standard or fast-track formats.

About Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

A retractable grass pitch that reveals a synthetic NFL field makes Tottenham Hotspur Stadium unusually technical for a London stadium visit. The experience combines a self-paced multimedia tour of changing rooms, tunnel and media areas with the Dare Skywalk, where harnessed groups climb the roof for views from beside the ~4.5 m golden cockerel.

Did you know?

The golden cockerel on the roof is ~4.5 m tall and was inspired by the cockerel that stood on the old White Hart Lane.

The South Stand is a single-tier "wall" for ~17,500 fans and is described in the research as the largest single-tier stand in the UK by capacity.

Some tour routes include hospitality spaces with the "Bottoms Up" beer system, which fills cups from the base rather than the top.

The stadium's grass pitch can slide away to reveal a synthetic NFL field underneath, allowing the venue to switch between football and NFL use.

Why visit Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?

Walk through the tunnel, dugouts and dressing rooms

The Stadium Tour takes you through areas usually reserved for players and staff, including the home changing room, away changing room, players' tunnel, pitchside dugouts and media spaces. The route is self-guided with multimedia, so you can pause longer in the areas that interest you most.

See the retractable pitch and NFL field

One of the stadium's defining features is its dual-purpose pitch system. The grass football surface retracts to reveal a synthetic NFL field underneath, and tour content explains the engineering with multimedia and, on some routes, views or footage of the mechanism.

Stand above the South Stand wall

The South Stand is a single-tier 'wall' holding ~17,500 fans and is described in the research as the largest single-tier stand in the UK by capacity. Tours highlight its acoustics and scale, showing how the bowl was designed to concentrate crowd noise on matchdays.

Climb to the ~4.5 m golden cockerel

The Dare Skywalk is a guided rooftop climb with harnesses, railings and a glass walkway leading to the platform beside the ~4.5 m golden cockerel. From here, you can look down into the stadium bowl and out across North and central London.

Add the Dare Skywalk Edge abseil

Dare Skywalk Edge adds a controlled abseil descent from the roof after the climb. Guests are clipped into separate lines and descend one by one under instructor supervision, turning the visit into both a stadium experience and an outdoor challenge.

Plan your visit

Tottenham Experience entrance

Located on the south side of the stadium facing High Road, this large glass-fronted megastore is the main entrance for Stadium Tours. It is the best choice for tour check-in, ticket scanning, and club shop access, and many visits both start and end here. Timed-slot visitors usually face short queues, although waits can increase around popular start times, weekends, and holidays. The entrance has step-free access from street level, and lifts are available inside for parts of the tour route where needed.

Dare Skywalk check-in entrance

This dedicated reception is on the exterior of the stadium and is separately signposted for Dare Skywalk. Use this entrance for rooftop climbs and Edge abseils rather than the megastore doors. Check-in includes booking verification, eligibility checks, security, lockers for most bags, and harnessing before your group starts. Waits are usually linked to group scheduling and safety briefings rather than a general queue. This route is not fully wheelchair accessible, as participants need to wear a harness and manage stairs or ladder sections.

General event turnstiles

These entrances are distributed around the stadium bowl by block and are used for matches and concerts rather than regular Stadium Tour visits. They handle high pre-event volumes and have dedicated, accessible turnstiles and assistance for eligible ticket holders. If you are visiting only for a tour or Skywalk, do not queue here; follow signs instead to the Tottenham Experience or the Dare Skywalk reception, depending on your booking.
