Fun fact: In April 2010, "Defying Gravity" was used as a wake-up call for astronauts aboard NASA’s space shuttle mission STS-131. Astronauts’ families often pick wake-up songs, and this one was chosen to inspire the crew on day 10 of the mission.
The story
Before ruby slippers and yellow brick roads, two witches crossed paths in Oz, the blonde, beloved Glinda and the green-skinned outcast Elphaba. What begins as rivalry at Shiz University slowly becomes a powerful friendship, tested by politics, magic, and questions of morality. As loyalties shift and truths unravel, destiny pulls them toward roles history will never forget. But who truly decides who’s good and who’s wicked?
