Visiting London from the US we looked for a play, and chose a play unfamiliar to us! As we have seen may a British farce, this far and away surprised us! This play is not stop humor, types of which rarely seen in a playhouse, and I have shared the joy we had with anyone who will listen! DO NOT MISS‼️

Some of the jokes and facial expressions were amazing .. other jokes a bit cringy as they took so long, like reaching for something and it took soooo long. I kept checking the family members I was with and they weren't always laughing, which was not the case when we watched A Comedy About Spies.. good play but I prefered the other play which kept me laughing ALL night.

This was an absolutely magical and hilarious show. From the amazing cast to the crew and outstanding sets and props. If you know the show you won't be disappointed by this cast, they are absolutely amazing and put 100% into their performances and play their parts so well. If you are new to shows and love to laugh, give this play a chance you'll not be disappointed. Adults and children in the audience of all walks of life laughed so much through out. Can't wait to go back and see another show! Love from your Canadian fans !

I've been directing small town community volunteer theatre for over forty years, specializing in comedies and specifically farces. I've also seen many professional shows in the bigger cities and especially in New York. I'm usually NOT fooled about what comes next, or how the gag gets played out. THIS show not only surprised me at EVERY turn, but I can't recall laughing out loud so much at a play. So many times we, the audience, broke into applause during a bit that I can't count how many times that happen

    The story

There’s been a murder at a country estate, and Inspector Carter is on the case. But with the Cornley Drama Society in charge, solving the crime is the least of their worries. Props malfunction, doors won’t open, actors miss cues, and one even gets stuck in a grandfather clock. The cast desperately tries to hold the show together through all the chaos, resulting in relentless, side-splitting comedy. Will they make it to the curtain call? Probably. Will anything else survive?

It was so very funny that I almost fell out of my seat several times, because i was laughing so very hard. And every bit of slapstick was perfectly timed in addition to being ver funny!Thisnplay alone was worth my trip over from America! Because this show was so good, i immediately book a ticket for your "Comedy about Spies" which was also so funny! And I've already booked a ticket for your Christmas show!👍🏻✅😀💁🏻
