The guide's explanations were clear, and the decorations in the Golden Hall and the lighting were quite impressive. However, they didn’t mention how they secured the funding to complete the project, which took 18 years. Before its inauguration in 1908, I suppose the War of the Triple Alliance against Paraguay was instrumental in financing these works.
