Perron entrance (Main entrance)

Located on the riverside plaza facing the Thames, near the Millennium Bridge. This is the primary entrance for most visitors and is fully wheelchair accessible, with wide automatic doors and step-free access directly into the Turbine Hall. The entrance is easy to spot from the river walkway and is closest to Blackfriars and St Paul’s stations.

South entrance (Blavatnik Building entrance)

Situated on Sumner Street, this entrance leads directly into the Blavatnik Building (Switch House). It is ideal for visitors arriving from Southwark or London Bridge stations. The entrance is fully accessible, with ramps and elevators available for step-free movement throughout the building.

It was our first visit to the London Eye and we really enjoyed it. The weather was perfect for getting amazing views of London. The one day unlimited boat trim on the Thames was the icing on the cake for us. What better way could there be to see so much of London. The boat was comfortable with cafe and toilets. St. Paul's Cathedral is beautiful, with its 528 steps, a beautiful view over the city, lovely and interesting, love it.

Our visit to St Paul's Cathedral in London was a truly remarkable experience for us from Australia. Our guide Mary was very engaging in presenting the cathedral's history throughout the several hundred years of its lifespan. We climbed the 520 stairs to the top of the dome for a magnificent vista from the outside. The crypt too was fascinating to explore. The highlight however, was the sung Eucharist evensong service which we attended as a Christian married couple. Being a music duo as well made the service particularly special given the incredible reverberation time in this building!
