St Stephen's is the most lavish cathedral I have ever visited - talk about awe and wonder! My photos do not do it justice. It is well worth paying the extra for the panoramic view. Lots of steps up (over 300!) but there is also an elevator. The Headout skip the line ticket is a must - people were queuing down the street at the ticket office, but there is a separate entrance for online bookings, where there was no queue at all. The ticket is valid for entry any time from 9.00am to 5.00pm.

A truly special experience. I highly recommend not missing out on this. An imposing cathedral with its treasure trove and extraordinary halls. And the view from the tower is simply breathtaking. A panoramic view of Budapest in all its glory

Visited early in the so able to access most areas while more tranquil. A mightily impressive building Only drawback was that renovation was taking place on one of the towers which marred some views but on the flip side, good to see investment in the preservation of this wonderful building. Worth the extra for a visit to the Treasury & Tower.

Beautiful building inside and outside. We were lucky enough to see a wedding take place and hear the organ music. This place is one of the highlights of Budapest.

We purchased the combo ticket which included walking through the basilica, visiting the treasury, and going to the lookout to see the panaramic view of Budapest. The basilica itself is spectacular and learning the story of its creation was interesting. There is so much detail put into the intricate artwork and its structure. The treasury itself was a delight to walk throigh, and the panaramic view was a perfect way to end the tour. Absolutely worth it!

I booked for 9am timed entry. Was given instructions to collect tickets 20 MINUTES BEFORE entry time from the guide holding a red umbrella OUTSIDE the ticket office. I have to go INSIDE the ticket office at 9am (ticket office ONLY opens at 9am sharp) to redeem my tickets. Why am I asked to come so early? Where is the guide with red umbrella? Make my family rush for nothing so early in the morning and with all the wrong instructions!

Erg onduidelijk waar het ticket office was. Schitterende basiliek. Zeer de moeite waard. Mooi uitzicht over de stad. Schatkamer was helaas gesloten.
