recently visited the Sydney Aquarium and had a fantastic experience. The exhibits are well designed, clean, and packed with a huge variety of marine life. Walking through the underwater tunnels while sharks, rays, and giant fish swam overhead was definitely a highlight. The aquarium is family-friendly and educational, with plenty of information about Australia's unique aquatic ecosystems. The dugongs, penguins, and crocodiles were particularly impressive, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. While it can get busy during peak times, the attraction is well organised and easy to navigate. It's a great day out for both kids and adults, whether you're a local or visiting Sydney. I would highly recommend Sydney Aquarium to anyone looking for an enjoyable and informative experience.

We took our 7-month-old son to SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium and it was an absolute blast! 😊 The underwater world captivated him, and we loved watching his reactions to the fish, sharks, and rays. Easy to book, good value for money and good communication regarding event however the zoo experience it's self was a bit disappointing due to several of the animals not seen due to works occurring on their enclosures.

Comfortable enclosed walking shoes, protective clothing, hat, sunscreen lotion, sunglasses, a water bottle, snacks, umbrella/raincoat if it rains, insect repellent, a camera, and money/credit card for optional purchases.

Taronga Zoo Sydney and Taronga Western Plains Zoo Dubbo is a smoke-free site. Smoking is prohibited in all zoo buildings, vehicles, and outdoor areas. Guests who do not comply may be removed.

You are not allowed to bring into the zoo any animal; animal costume; ball; balloon; bicycle (Taronga Zoo), scooter, skateboard, rollerblades, or similar apparatus; alcohol, or illegal substances.

Please do not use any audio equipment or musical instrument at a volume likely to disturb any animal; or behave in a manner that is likely to cause offense or disruption to other guests.

Be careful not to touch or interfere with any animal or vegetation; remove or disturb any rock, stone, sand, or similar substance; feed any animal; throw any object; climb on, damage, or deface any structure or sign; light any fire; or litter.

Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

The Penguin Expedition Boat Ride is open from 10:30am - 3pm.

Children under 90cm must be seated next to a responsible adult during the boat ride.

Children over 90cm but under 120cm must be seated next to or in the row immediately in front of a responsible adult during the boat ride.

Children over 120cm are free to ride without adult supervision

Each boat can seat up to 6 guests.

Please note that the boat ride is wheelchair friendly. You can have 2 companions over the age of 16. If traveling alone, a staff member will ride with you during the experience.

Taronga Zoo Sydney is 12 minutes from Circular Quay by ferry. Sydney Ferries services depart Circular Quay every 30 minutes.
