Trekking Mount Batur is truly a unique and special experience that you don't see everywhere. The guide was extremely kind and helpful, stopping whenever someone in the group needed a break. I want to say a big thank you to Rina for all the photos and videos she took for us and helped us take. The tour includes a driver who picks you up at your hotel and brings you back at the end of the activity. Wardana was our driver, and he was helpful, informative, and highly professional. We had a wonderful time, highly recommended!

Everything went as it was planned. Our driver Bayu was very professional. He picked up us on time. Our guide Lisyta was very helpful. She always check if we are okay during the tour. The service that they provided was perfect! It is important to mentioned that as per our opinion the tour is not family friendly as there are difficult parts during the hiking.

We had a great time! They provided pick up which was on time. We got our own private guide. We made it to the top in 1,5 hour and had to wait for the sun to come up. The guide took lot of photos of us so we "would remember forever". When we got back around 8 in the morning our driver was waiting for is and drove us safely home, thanks alit!

Suas was a great driver for us, we even stopped at the coffee plantation after the Batur hike! During our hike our guide was Sonia, she led us up to the summit quick and took very nice pictures at the top as well!

Getting started

Start early, before dawn. You’ll be picked up from your hotel in a shared or private vehicle, depending on your ticket. Drive to the base of Mount Batur, where your guide will greet you. Show your booking confirmation and ID at the entry point. Quick security check before the trek begins—no large bags or outside food allowed.

The hike is long: 1.5 hours one-way. And it gets chilly – the summit temperature ranges between 8° to 15° C
