Safari Journey Through Three Themed Regions

The Safari Journey is the park’s central experience: a guided ride through open-style habitats representing Indonesia, India, and Africa. From a bus or 4×4 vehicle, you can spot lions, zebras, wildebeest, rhinos, hippos, and other large animals. Many visitors report the ride itself lasts around 30–45 minutes, not counting queueing and boarding.

Main Entrance Gate / Ticketing Hall

Located off Jl. Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Mantra Km 19,8 in Desa Serongga, Gianyar, this is the park’s main guest entrance. A clearly signposted driveway leads to the parking area and a large entrance building, and all visitors funnel through here. Online tickets are typically scanned at the turnstiles or checked at a counter first; some third-party vouchers require redemption at the ticket desk before entry. Bag checks and general security screening take place before or at the turnstiles. Waits are usually shorter near opening and longer in mid-morning and holiday periods. The forecourt and entry hall are on level ground, but there may be some walking from the parking area and detailed ramp or door information is not clearly published.

We went to the zoo on July 4. It's a nice zoo, but we arrived at 10:30, when it was already getting hot and many of the animals were hiding in the shade and sleeping. We saw the tiger and the elephant being fed.)
