About Bali Bird Park

Bali Bird Park is a compact, bird-focused half-day attraction in Gianyar, making it easier to combine with Ubud or Sanur than larger wildlife parks. Its strongest draw is immersion: several walk-through aviaries, themed zones for Indonesia, South America, and South Africa, and supervised close-up encounters that let visitors see hornbills, macaws, flamingos, and the Bali myna at close range.

Walk-Through Aviaries with Birds Overhead

Several large walk-through aviaries let you enter the birds’ space instead of viewing everything from behind glass. Visitors follow meandering paths while mixed species fly overhead or perch close to the route, creating some of the park’s most immersive viewing and photo opportunities.

Main Entrance Gate

Located off Jalan Serma Cok Ngurah Gambir on the western side of the park, this is the only documented public entrance for Bali Bird Park. It is visible from the parking and drop-off area and has the ticket counter nearby. All visitors use this gate, including guests arriving by taxi, private driver, scooter, or transfer service. Online tickets are scanned here or exchanged at the counter, depending on the voucher type, and visitors then pass through a brief bag check. Access from the parking area to the ticket zone appears step-free, with mostly level internal paths, though some slopes are present inside the park. Queues are usually short but can be a little longer at peak arrival times, weekends, and public holidays.

Our kids were absolutely excited about feeding the parrots — we literally couldn’t get them to leave for over 30 minutes! Watching the Komodo dragon feeding was another unforgettable highlight. We also loved the flying raptors show — truly impressive. Overall, this place is an absolute must-visit!
