I visited the MJ Musical with my father and we both loved it! The storyline was great performed and explained and we loved that there was so many music parts. Of course, it is a Musical but it felt extraordinary. The cast was perfect, especially the adult Michael Jackson as we agreed that we haven't seen and heard such a good imitation when it comes to speaking AND singing, it was incredible! In some moments it even made us feel emotional as the actors played their parts very well and compassionate. Eventhough we were sitting right at the top at the grand circle, we had a really good view and had enough space to sit comfortably. If someone would ask me if this Musical is worth the visit, I would 100% say YES.

Spectacular musical about Michael Jackson's life and career!!! Gift given to me , his lifelong fan , and to my family who thanked me because the experience was memorable.... The only flaw was the purchase of 4 side seats up high from which we could see half the stage and AT THE IDEA OF SPENDING 2 1/2 HOURS WITH THE NECK TURNED RIGHT WITH THE BACK of the lighting structure had us worried. Fortunately, the girl who was supervising the hall noticed our nmal dissatisfaction and got us to talk to the manager who switched us to some unsold seats..and that's how we resolved it. We did not take pictures because it was forbidden.

My first musical in London. What a treat! An amazing show, actors bursting with talent. I'm impressed and still in a dream. I thought the actors chosen to play MJ were very well cast and the result is very realistic. The staging is really well thought out and relevant. The sets are magnificent. The 2½ hours flew by. What's more, I feel that the layout of the theater means that no matter where you sit, the show is just as good. Definitely worth seeing!

    The story

Set during rehearsals for Michael Jackson’s 1992 Dangerous World Tour, MJ The Musical in London blends flashbacks and present‑day prep to reveal his creative spark, personal struggles, and the high stakes behind the scenes. Audiences follow Jackson’s interactions with his creative team and family, exploring his drive for perfection, complex identity, and the pressure of fame, all while iconic songs punctuate the narrative. What emerges is not just a show, but a portrait of transformation, leaving you wondering: how will fame and artistry collide?

    Critics reviews

“We’re taken by Myles Frost’s spell-binding ‘MJ’ on a hectic ride… Christopher Wheeldon’s production is a superlatively directed and choreographed piece of absolute pizzaz.”

    - The Standard

“Each song has a message here… a spectacular second-act number shows MJ dueting with dance greats… the show’s avoidance of Jackson’s scandals raises ethical questions.”

    - The Independent

A truly fantastic show, the actors, the choreography, the music, everything was exceptional. The theater was very beautiful and the staff were competent and helpful. Our seats were perfect, neither too close nor too far away.

Overwhelming music, dance, and performance. The cast's energy remained high throughout the entire show. The transitions between then and now were also beautifully portrayed. Highly recommended.

I liked the way MJ's story was told. I also particularly liked the MJ actor as a teenager.
