The story
A story about the trials and tribulations of love, Hadestown focuses on two couples — the poverty-ridden Orpheus and Eurydice and the King of the Underworld, Hades and his wife, Persephone. When Persephone is miserable about returning to the Underworld after she visits the world above, Hades heads out to search for someone who will appreciate the offerings of his home. He finds Eurydice and convinces her to move to the Underworld in exchange for food and protection. Eurydice agrees and becomes a worker at Hadestown, the dark underground factory of Hades. When Orpheus finds out, he vows to save Eurydice. What follows is a heartbreaking tale of sacrifice, triumph and the mysterious machinations of fate.

Today was my birthday and this was my first musical I've experienced live. My sister surprised me with tickets to Hadestown and I'm so glad I went. I was spell bound ! And now the memory of my first musical will always be tied to my birthday. The staff especially the ushers were so kind and helpful and made the experience much more comfortable. The actual show was amazing. I still have chills!!!

Good ticketing experience - first time with Headout; Staff great at helping people to navigate the space. Didn't enjoy how many people got up during the performance (presumably to use the toilets) and were allowed back into their seats also during the performance - very distracting
