For anyone who saw Back to the Future as a young adult the nostalgia of the fashion gave us our first chuckle. The sets for each scene were cleverly done and what they did with the dolorian was amazing. The story line was true to the original with the addition of some humour that made us laugh out loud, and plenty of dancing and singing. There was quite a few children at our show and a few phrases got them giggling too. I thought Doc was the star of the show, he had the x-factor! My husband was dragged along to the 'musical' but came away having totally enjoyed the show and the special effects.

Back to the Future – The Musical at London’s Adelphi Theatre is a thrilling fusion of heart, humour, and spectacle. Hill Valley is recreated with meticulous detail, and the performances of Marty McFly and Doc Brown are electric and full of life. The DeLorean’s flight is perfectly timed, thrilling without ever overshadowing the story. The score drives the narrative relentlessly, while choreography and effects serve the drama, not the applause. Every element works in harmony to make time travel tangible and exciting. One of the finest — if not the finest — musical productions I have ever seen.

As a regular at musicals, I can say we had a wonderful time as a family. Our kids loved the atmosphere and were able to recognize all the key scenes from the movie, even though the script was adapted for the stage. The special effects took us on a fantastic journey through time. Furthermore, the choreography was spot-on, and the performers were top-notch, taking us through a whole range of emotions. In short, a truly wonderful experience that I highly recommend to everyone.

As a huge Back to the Future fan, I came especially from far away to see this amazing spectacle! The special effects were amazing, me and my daughter were baffled about how everything looked and felt, like you were in the movie!! The visual experience was so spectacular, we are already thinking about coming again! The cast was great and the music as well. To see the Delorian in such a close reach, was a boys dream come true. Thank you for a memory for life, for me and my daughter! It truly was amazing!!

This was my first ever musical experience, and I was blown away. Back To the Future was a childhood memory for me and my sister, so getting to see it with her after all these years was truly special. The visual effects and stunts were absolutely amazing. In particular, the scene where the car drove and travelled back to the past; and at the end, where the car flew into the air and slightly into the audience! Made me forget that I was in a theatre! Ten out of ten experience.

Will he make it back to 1985, or will history be rewritten forever?

Great atmosphere, superb integrated special effects with the a super cast. It followed the film, but tweaked it for the theatre. It was great for the family too, young and old. London Adelphi theatre was a good venue, but probably could be a bit cheaper for the family but a fair price.
