This museum was a beautiful surprise! Leonardo da Vinci's drawings come to life and you can interact with them... fun for both adults and children! Through his drawings, he imagined different tools, machines, and even the fountain pen! An armored automaton that works with pulleys and ropes, weapons... and of course his wings, which were modeled after the flight of birds! An atmosphere of discovery and play. The sounds of the various moving parts create a rather unique soundscape 🙂 Have a great visit!

No lines because there are few people. It's a seldom-visited but highly interactive museum, great for understanding why things are the way they are today, thanks to Leonardo's talent.

We visited the smaller Leonardo da Vinci Museum and had a wonderful experience. The highlight was the service provided by the guide who was waiting for us at the entrance to the Florence Cathedral. My friend lost the ticket he had exchanged for us just a few minutes earlier; we asked him for help, and within five minutes he resolved the issue with great kindness and a positive attitude. Very interesting. It would have been nice if they'd mentioned that water bottles and hydration packs weren't allowed. I had to leave my hydration pack behind and wasn't able to get it back.
