This time - we had problems in the past with Headout meeting places and no one to help - we made it to the spot in time. As the tickets told the exact address and had a location that came up and showed the exact spot. Some tours did not. The spot was well marked. As for the museum tour. The tour guide took us into the Vatican museum and passed us off to the English language tour guide. She was beyond excellent. There was a 20 minute introduction about the generalities of the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel and cleaning. Of we went on the tour. This was part was over and hour through many glalries of paintings and sculptures. Our guide was well versed in everyting Vatican. At the end we sat on the benches in the Sistine Chapel for 10 minutes trying to absorb the beauty of it. Well worth the time and $. We also came back and went on the companion St. Peter's Basicila tour later that morning. The church has the most impressive art collection I have ever seen. The Romans were great builders the church was excellent for impressive displays of art in paniting and stone statues. All well worth it.

Nous avons eu la chance de découvrir les musées du Vatican et la Chapelle Sixtine en compagnie de Marc, un guide absolument exceptionnel ! Passionné, érudit, pédagogue et particulièrement sympathique, Marc a su transformer cette visite en une expérience aussi passionnante qu’enrichissante. Ses connaissances impressionnantes, la clarté de ses explications et ses nombreuses anecdotes nous ont permis de découvrir ces lieux extraordinaires sous un regard totalement différent. Au-delà de ses compétences indéniables, nous avons particulièrement apprécié son enthousiasme communicatif, sa disponibilité et son talent pour captiver son auditoire du début à la fin. Un immense merci à Marc, qui a largement contribué à faire de cette visite l’un des moments les plus mémorables de notre séjour à Rome. Nous le recommandons sans la moindre réserve. Si vous avez la chance de visiter le Vatican avec Marc, vous êtes entre d’excellentes mains ! Une prestation remarquable qui mérite bien plus que cinq étoiles !

Bogdan is a great guide, he made all the experience easy to keep up, interesting and funny. we liked his way to keep us together, in a good pace even for the elders, always giving history hints and knowledge with humour! Vatican museum and Cappella Sistina stand at their height of expectations for anyone who have never visited them, but better do this with guide if it's your first time visiting. We didn't had the chance to visit the basilica since it was Wednesday and every Wednesday there is a pop auditorium. Although we just visited the basilica next day on our own, no ticket needed just some queue waiting. Better try it late in the afternoon and before 19.00 nothing to complain about, except the really crowded and touristic vibe you bump on allover the city, but this is inevitable.

Carolina was extremely knowledgeable and cheerful. We appreciated her ability to care for the people on her tour, making sure that we had adequate bathroom breaks and explaining carefully the logistics of the tour. The large crowds make this important. She also counted the people on the group to be sure not to lose anyone. Her care and concern enabled us to stay together and enjoy all the detail she provided in her thorough discussions of the art and history of the architecture, subtends and sculpture in the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. She made the very long morning pass by quickly and so enjoyably. I highly recommend tours with Carolina!

I visited Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel guided tour with Saint Peter's Basilica. We got the fast track so we did not have to wait too long to the entrance. All the statues, paintings and exhibits are gorgeous masterpieces. They perfectly took me back to that era. Especially I was deeply moved standing beneath The Genesis and The Last Judgment, and inside Saint Peter’s Basilica. You can feel the divine energy in Michelangelo's and other famous artists' work. Certainly you can feel the Lord is with you. The tour guide was veteran. He vividly took us in the way he thought this is the best route. This makes me be invested in the journey. Thank you so much.

We did the full tour with a live guide of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St Peters Basilica (without guide). Our guide was amazing. She gave us so much insightful information that made everything that we saw so much more meaningful, and even more importantly walked us past all the people waiting to a special line for tours that got us right in, then down a special passage between the Sistine Chapel & St Peters Basilica that also avoided any wait. I wish that she would have continued on with us into the Basilica as we did see other live guides there...not sure why that wasn't included for the price we paid, but it was still well worth it.

We hadden een combinatie geboekt van het Vaticaanmuseum, de Sixtijnse Kapel en de sint Pieter Basiliek, maar na de uitgebreide tour door het museum en het bezoek aan de Sixtijnse Kapel, hadden we geen energie meer voor de basiliek. Die zou ik dus op een ander moment apart boeken. Zoveel indrukken, zoveel gezien en gehoord! We hadden een heel enthousaste, fijne gids in de persoon van Francesca die geanimeerd wist te vertellen en vragen kon beantwoorden. Het enige wat jamme was, was de enorme hoeveelheid toeristen waardoor er in de Sixtijnse kapel geen gelegenheid was om alles rustig te bekijken; er stonden bewakers mensen te commanderen om dóór te lopen.

Very easy to find the office, guide arrived on time. Very knowledgeable and friendly, he took great care of the group. There was a delay on entering that was not his fault, but he stayed on and did the time anyway, which was very kind. My only concern was the length of the tour, despite the Vatican delay, the dome walk had its own queue that would have taken an hour to pass through. I think this should be made more obvious upon booking, as we were starving and tired and had to sadly leave it. A bit of transparency would not hurt a tour description!!

Unser Guide ist vertretungsweise eingesprungen und die Tour hat verspätet begonnen, nicht seine Schuld. Er hat die Tour mit seinem fundierten Wissen interessant und sehr unterhaltsam gestaltet. Wir waren von der Größe und dem Prunkt des Petersdoms überwältigt. Leider konnte unsere Gruppe die Kuppel nicht besuchen, weil diese den kompletten Mittag gesperrt war. Der Guide hat uns empfohlen, eine anteilige Rückerstattung beim Anbieter geltend zu machen - bisher ohne Erfolg.

Our tour guide was Francesco and he was incredible. Best tour guide I've ever had. You could tell how passionate he was about the history of Rome and it was fascinating. I learned so much and am grateful for the experience. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn about the Vatican and its history.
