Pompeii Skip-the-Line Guided Tour

Non era la prima volta che visitavo Pompei, ma questa volta è stata davvero un’esperienza speciale, soprattutto grazie alla nostra guida, Grazia Donofrio. Preparatissima, brillante e dotata di una grande ironia, Grazia ha saputo farci immergere nella vita quotidiana dell’antica Pompei, raccontandoci curiosità, aneddoti e dettagli che hanno reso la storia incredibilmente viva e coinvolgente. La sua capacità di alternare cultura, leggerezza e simpatia, coinvolgendo tutto il gruppo con domande e osservazioni spiritose, ha reso la visita interessante e mai noiosa. Ma la cosa che ho apprezzato di più è stata la sua capacità di farmi guardare Pompei con occhi nuovi. Pensavo, dopo le visite precedenti, di aver già scoperto e compreso molto di questo luogo straordinario. Invece Grazia mi ha fatto capire quante storie, dettagli e aspetti della vita di allora ci siano ancora da scoprire. Sono uscita da Pompei con una gran voglia di tornarci. E credo che questo sia il più bel complimento che si possa fare a una guida: non limitarsi a raccontare la storia, ma riuscire ad accendere la curiosità e il desiderio di conoscerne ancora di più. Grazie Grazia, davvero bravissima! Consigliatissima!

We really enjoyed the entire tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared Latin words connecting the things we saw. The guide, Antonio, was a native of Pompei and he was clearly passionate about what he shared. He took us to areas that had less people observing where the other tours were going. He showed us parts of everyday life reiterating what we saw as if we were all Pompeians! He was humorous and kept everyone engaged including children. He went a little longer because he wanted to show us what was currently being excavated. We had a fun and interesting afternoon. Antonio is excellent! The organizing of the tour group by the Askos representatives was well organized and friendly. We have done numerous tours now with Headout with great success and highly recommend them. Thank you!

We had an amazing tour of Pompeii with Antonio, our archaeologist, who was absolutely brilliant! He shared a wealth of fascinating information about daily life in ancient Pompeii, the city’s excavations, and the historical context in which the city developed and ultimately met its fate. What made the tour truly special was his ability to bring history to life, explain the significance of what we were seeing, and answer all our questions with great knowledge and enthusiasm. His explanations went far beyond the usual facts and gave us a much deeper understanding of what life was really like in Pompeii. Antonio’s passion, expertise, and engaging storytelling made this an unforgettable experience. We couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough!

Although the area to find the guide was congested and chaotic, it was worth it. Our group of seven people has an amazing time. The archeologist Gabriel was our guide and did a phenomenal job. I could not have asked for a more informed and personable guide, just amazing. He was full of knowledge and answered every question we asked. But he didn't answer it quickly and took the time to be genuine and have personable conversation after the tour had ended. Pompeii is what it is, a piece of history that you should be so blessed to have the opportunity to visit. Loved it

Gostei da organização e da delicadeza em me esperar depois que eu tive um atraso causado por um cancelamento de UBER. A visita foi bem conduzida e houve muitas explicações exemplificativas sobre o cotidiano dos habitantes da cidade à época em que sobreveio a tragédia; é uma experiência de imersão que todos que tiverem oportunidade devem fazer 1x na vida. O local onde o parque está inserido proporciona paisagens inesquecíveis e um sentimento de reverência pela natureza, força capaz de promover mudanças dramáticas no espaço de apenas alguns dias.

El tour en español duró dos horas exactas desde que la guía nos agrupó en la puerta de Pompeya hasta que nos dejó en la salida. Nos llevó a las localizaciones más llamativas del enclave arqueológico y nos contó la historia que hay detrás de cada una de ellas. Fue muy interesante y lo explicó bien y de forma amena, respondiendo a preguntas que le hacíamos. Una vez termina su exposición, puedes continuar en Pompeya todo el tiempo que quieras viendo otras zonas libremente hasta el cierre. Muy recomendable el tour guiado para entender que ves.
