The Dutch Masters, from Vermeer to Van Gogh exhibition runs daily from 9:30am to 11:30am, surrounding you with masterpieces by renowned Dutch artists.

Enjoy The Prehistoric Planet: Dinosaurs exhibition daily from 12 noon to 2:30pm as enormous prehistoric creatures appear across walls, floors, and towering columns.

See the Gustav Klimt exhibition daily from 3pm to 6pm, featuring The Kiss, golden portraits, and masterpieces from Vienna's celebrated Secession movement.

The show and the individual small rooms make the experience even more unique and amazing. How the show Switches from one painting to another was thrilling and always different. It was absolutely breathtaking. Can only say would do it again and again and again.

The room was big enough that it didn't get to crowed. The music matched perfectly to the sea types they showed. It was interesting, something completely new and a way to act the awareness to the sea life in a way without a bunch of reading but with videos which made you feel somehow more connected and closer.

Getting started

Arrive at Fabrique des Lumières in Amsterdam's Westergasfabriek and present your ticket at the entrance. Once inside, head to your selected exhibition during its scheduled timeslot and enjoy a multisensory journey through monumental digital projections and immersive sound.

What to expect

Fabrique des Lumières transforms a historic industrial gasworks into an extraordinary digital art venue, where towering walls, pillars, and floors become living canvases through state-of-the-art projections, music, and animation. Your ticket includes entry to the venue and one exhibition of your choice.

Features:

Dutch Masters, from Vermeer to Van Gogh: Available daily from 9:30am to 11:30am (26 June–17 September 2026), this exhibition brings iconic works by Vermeer, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, and other Dutch Masters to life through monumental digital projections.

Gustav Klimt: Running daily from 3pm to 6pm (26 June–17 September 2026), this immersive exhibition showcases Klimt's celebrated golden masterpieces, including The Kiss, alongside dazzling works inspired by the Vienna Secession movement.

The Prehistoric Planet: Dinosaurs: Open daily from 12 noon to 2:30pm (26 June–17 September 2026), this family-friendly exhibition surrounds you with lifelike dinosaurs, dramatic prehistoric landscapes, and cinematic digital storytelling.

What to bring

Have your entry tickets and ID ready for a seamless experience.

What’s not allowed

Smoking, food and drinks, umbrellas, prams, child carriers, strollers, suitcases, and other large items are not allowed on this experience.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

Flash photography is strictly prohibited at the venue.

Safety is a priority so this experience is restricted for unsupervised guests under the age of 12 years

Accessibility

This experience is wheelchair accessible, except for the Hall’s tiered seating.

Two wheelchairs are available for visitors.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

There are 40 seats in the main exhibition area, and foldable chairs can be borrowed at the entrance if needed.

Some exhibitions feature light effects, which may not be suitable for individuals with epilepsy or vertigo.
