No point pretending otherwise - the crowds were horrendous. Luckily, of course, we didn't have to join those huge queues for tickets ( in the.blistering sun) - that made an enormous difference to the day. Everything was still very crowded but you could weave your way through the groups with guides. I much prefer.making my own way and I'd been before which helps. It is tbe sheer volume and area of artistic historical exhibits that is so breathtaking for me. And you can never relax. Every corridor, every wall , every ceiling is full of artistic treasure. And, of course you reach The Sistine Chapel ( look out for the sneaky back staircase!)... Hundreds of people still, of course, but I was lucky enough to get a bench near the back so I could relax and take in the marvellous sight. Everybody will have their favourite (apart from the miraculous work in general of Michelangelo on the ceiling and the Last Judgement ). I always look at the Sibyls and the Prophets. The Delphic Sibyl is my favourite I think - I don't know why...Despite the heat and the crowds it is an experience I will never forget. Everybody should go at least once

Absolutely fantastic experience visiting the Colosseum, Pantheon, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill! The views were breathtaking, and walking through these incredible historical sites made the trip to Rome truly unforgettable. A special mention to the Headout app—it made everything so easy and convenient from start to finish. The Vatican Museums are absolutely beautiful and definitely worth seeing at least once. The artwork, architecture, and history are incredible, and the Sistine Chapel is especially impressive in person. That said, it was extremely crowded, which made it difficult to really stop and appreciate everything. I’d definitely recommend going as early as possible and booking tickets ahead of time. An amazing experience overall, but be prepared for a lot of people!

Der vereinbarte Treffpunkt war leicht zu finden. Auch hier sollte man früh genug vor Ort sein. Bei Frauen müssen Schultern & Knie bedeckt sein ( vor Ort kann man auch Schals kaufen für 10€ ) , sonst hat alles geklappt. Wir haben nicht lange uns anstellen müssen aber es waren trotzdem sehr viele Leute im Vatikan. Es war sehr heiß und leider nicht wirklich klimatisiert. Es ist aber aufjedenfall sehenswert und bewundernswert!

Reservé el viaje a Roma a última hora y conseguí todas las entradas juntas en un paquete, lo que me facilitó bastante ya que no encontraba disponibilidad en otras webs. La experiencia muy buena, en el punto de encuentro te da la documentación necesaria y haces la visita (en nuestro caso), a nuestro aire.

The employee were so nice and we got all the needed information. Even when came late to the Panteon which the tickets were included in the Vatican's combo, they gave us the entrance tickets and we were able to get in the Panteon 3 hours later

Honestly I picked a good time when it was not too crowded and the organisers were extremely helpful too. I was a little scared hearing everyone's stories but skip the line tickets are the best lol and everything was convenient.

Leonardo Express

Enjoy a comfortable and speedy transfer between Fiumicino Airport to Rome Termini Station in just 32 minutes. This pass allows you to skip any lines for tickets and unnecessary delays due to multiple stops. If you wish to leave Rome or have just arrived aboard the Leonardo Express, quickly reach the destination of your choice.

This method is the quickest alternative to all public transportation options, including lines to Florence, Bologna, Milan, Venice, and Naples/Salerno. When you land at the Airport, move to the station within the premise and catch the train which leaves every 15 minutes.

Rome Termini Railway Station is conveniently located in the center of the city allowing you multiple options to explore from here. You can take the exit onto Via Marsala to the right side, Via Giolitti to the left, or Piazza Dei Cinquecento straight away. If Rome Termini is not your final destination, it is super easy to catch a taxi or go for Metro lines A and B. You can also find options for various bus routes from this point.

Upon entering, you will be free to roam the Museum and Sistine Chapel at your own pace. The Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel boast the finest artwork ever to be made. Made up of 54 galleries, the Vatican Museums house one of the largest, and also the most important, collections of Renaissance art in the world. Built in the 15th century, the Sistine Chapel's walls and ceilings are covered in some of the most wonderful frescoes ever produced.

The 54th gallery of the Vatican Museums is the famed Sistine Chapel. Initially built in the 15th Century, the paintings by Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel were painted in the 16th century. Palatine Hill offers one of the best views of the city. Leonardo Express

Departures are scheduled every 15 minutes throughout most of the day and are guaranteed even in the event of a strike, potentially with a replacement bus service.

One child between the age of 4-12 can travel free of cost with one paying adult.

With canine registration certificates and a proper safe carrier, you can bring your dogs, cats, or other pets free of cost.

Guard dogs are allowed on board free of cost.

There are no limitations on the number of luggage that you can bring along for the journey.

Leonardo Express trains are accessible to travelers with reduced mobility.

Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel

Please note the chosen time must be respected and latecomers would not be accommodated.

Dress Code: Please be dressed appropriately. Sleeveless blouses, miniskirts, shorts, and hats are not permitted. Your head, knees, and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. Comfortable shoes are recommended. We recommend you carry a shawl or a scarf to cover your head.

People with wheelchair disabilities get free entry. The Vatican Museums offer free wheelchair hire from the cloakroom.

The Vatican Museums offer free tickets for visitors with mobility impairments (with certified disability exceeding 74%). Additionally, in the case of visitors lacking in self-sufficiency, free entry is extended to their companions.

Certification of disability must be shown before the issue of the entrance tickets either at the Reception or at the Special Permits Desk, located in the entrance hall of the Vatican Museums.

Restrictions

Late arrivals will not be accommodated.

The tour assistants will help you enter the Vatican Museums and services will end with the ticket delivery at the entrance (lobby) of the Museums.

It is not recommended to bring strollers to the Vatican Museums as there are multiple staircases across the museum.

There is a security check at the entrance of the Vatican Museum.

Colosseum, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill

Your tickets are timed so you must enter the Colosseum at the time slot selected at the time of booking.

Guests have a flexible entrance to the Palatine and Forum at any time during their selected activity date. The tickets for the Palatine and Forum will remain valid for an additional 24 hours after the Colosseum entry time is selected during booking.

Child tickets are open-time and their entry depends on the Adult visiting with them.

Note that there are 2 entrances: one for the Colosseum, and another for the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill (combined). You may enter each entrance ONLY ONCE. Re-entry is not permitted with the same ticket.

Please note that entry to the Colosseum is free on the first Sunday of every month.

It is recommended to wear comfortable attire and walking does as there is a fair amount of walking involved.

Please note the chosen time must be respected and latecomers would not be accommodated.

The attractions remain closed on 25 Dec and 1 Jan.

You will be denied entry if you do not carry a valid ID or passport with you and present it at the time of entry if requested.

For safety and security reasons, no large backpacks or pieces of luggage are allowed inside the Colosseum.

The mandatory security check can take 30 min or more. To make the security checks quicker, please insert any object (including mobile phone) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the X-ray.

No storage facility is available. You can, however, take a baby stroller into the Colosseum with you, should it be necessary.
