Colosseum, Palatine Hill & Roman Forum Small Group Tour

Excellent tour with a fastastic guide. Isabel gave us the relevant history and detail of each stop while keeping us in the shade during extreme heat. She answered all questions, kept our group together in very crowded areas. Highly recommmend this tour.

Our host Polina was incredible! We loved how knowledgeable she was and made the whole experience really interesting and fun! It was a particularly hot day and she also made sure to stop often in shaded areas for breaks from the heat while continuing to explain the history, you could tell she really cared and was interested in her job and the people on the tour.. she even reccomended places to eat/drink and visit after the tours and we visited one of the places she recommended and had a great time! The places we got to see were fantastic, and we could not reccomend this tour more!

We loved the tour and our guide but the confusion created by Carpe Diem before the tour we disliked. First we received information that our tour starting 9.30 was cancelled. We offered another different tour. We were offered a 15% payback. Which we still have not received. We accepted, our tour would start at 10.00. We again received an app from Carpe Diem that our tour would start at 10.30. Much to our surprise, on our way to the meeting point I received a call from from Carpe Diem. With the question , where are you? Your tour start at 10.00????

Headout logro revertir muy satisfactoriamente una primera mala impresión. Unos días antes de la visita al Coliseo que teníamos reservada desde hacía más de un mes recibimos un mensaje del operador Doooing Experience de que la visita se cancelaba. Solo me proponían como alternativa la misma visita por la tarde y en ingles en lugar de en español, lo cual no era una solución aceptable. Tras varias quejas con el operador, Doooing Experience y con Headout, tuve que cancelar la visita y recontratar con Headout la misma excursión pero por la tarde que Headout si ofrecía en Español. Lo hice sin estar segura de que reintegrarian lo cancelado. Afortunadamente la visita fue excelente! Terminó siendo una visita privada para nosotros 4, con una guia romana, Laura, excepcional. Laura es impecable, nos acompaño por el coliseo, el foro y el Palatino con absoluta tranquilidad y dedicación, explicándonos tantos siglos de historia con soltura y transmitiendonos su amor por Roma de una forma muy agradable. Definitivamente es muy recomendable. A los pocos días llegó el reintegro de la visita cancelada. Así que, a pesar del disgusto y nervios iniciales, Headout respondió correctamente y revirtió con creces la mala impresión original.

On time. Great guide! She knew everything about the Colosseum and the Roman forum but most importantly she knew the little hidden secrets, how to make room through the crowd so we could take panoramic photos at the best spots, remind us to keep hydrated etc etc
