We had a lovely walk to the Acropolis complex from our hotel and once there it was very easy to show our booked tickets online. The guides there were very helpful as I wasn't sure whether I needed the tickets checking at the ticket office or at the gate. For those of you with online tickets you probably already know just to go to the gate. 8am is a fantastic time to go as far fewer people around. The acropolis is amazing and I'm sure will be the highlight of our trip. Just another bit of advice. If you want to go to other monuments you can get a combined ticket which then costs a lot less than buying individual ones. The Headout site is very easy to use and I would use again.

I had a health issue, so I couldn't make the visit on the scheduled day and requested to change the date, but I submitted the request after the allowed deadline. Even so, Headout provided a 50% credit of the ticket price, which I used to rebook entry to the museum. The app and the audio guide were also very easy to use. It was incredible; I have a degree in History, so it was a dream come true.

Visiting the Acropolis was an incredible experience. Standing among structures that have survived for nearly 2,500 years, overlooking Athens, was genuinely humbling. Having studied ancient Greek history, it was fascinating to finally see the Parthenon in person and appreciate the scale, craftsmanship and historical significance of the site. An unforgettable experience and absolutely worth visiting.

Enter through the main entrance via the staircase, go up and pass through the imposing entryway, and photograph the temples from below to capture their majesty. Great experience with the ticket and clear instructions via WhatsApp chat on how to download the apps for the audio guide. The only issue was that it was only available in English, even though we requested it in Italian.

I loved seeing the looks on my friends faces when they saw how magnificent the Parthenon and the surrounding temples are. I had visited in 2015 and it still amazes me too. The audio was very informative and interesting. We had lots of photo opportunities. We followed the audio around while discussing the amazing stories between the four of us.

The museum is beautiful architecturally and practically. It is an impressive building and space and shows off the collection wonderfully. The entry was smooth and the audio guide worth purchasing too. Overall I was very impressed with my visit to the museum and it was a wonderful follow up to a visit to the Acropolis site the day before.

The museum is simply spectacular! The architecture is stunning, and the thought invested in every single detail is evident in its exceptional precision, offering a truly remarkable spatial experience. The exhibition is rich, enlightening, and brilliantly connects the material history of the temples to the culture and history of Athens and the region. The sculptures and reliefs are breathtakingly beautiful and executed with exceptional quality, while the displays and explanations are engaging and insightful. The Acropolis Hill itself is beautiful and moving, offering a fantastic view of the city as well.

It was great at the Acropolis. Actually being in a place you've only seen in history books was wonderful. Get there as early as possible to get good pictures, otherwise 100 strangers will be in the picture with you. Well worth the cost. The audio guide worked perfectly, telling us about each site as we approached. You can get some great photos if you go the the tomb of Philopappo also. The tomb is a good climb but pictures are amazing.

The surround sound on the narrative was great. The directions were easy to follow and and had visual pictures that were very helpful. The additional history and pictures were a great addition. The cost was nice. It wasn't too much information. Just the right amount.
