Guided Tours in Athens

What a wonderful experience—it was really worth it. But there was still a long line, even though we had bought tickets online.

Booking through Headout was quick, easy, and completely hassle-free. The tickets for the Acropolis and the National Archaeological Museum were delivered immediately, and everything worked perfectly at the entrances. The instructions were clear, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. I would definitely use Headout again for future trips and recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient way to book attraction tickets.

A beautiful excursion—in my opinion, an absolute must-do! The Athens coastline is enchanting, and the Temple of Poseidon is spectacular at sunset. The duration was just right to fully enjoy the place. I’m not giving 5 stars solely because of the scheduling: pickup/departure was scheduled for 4:30 p.m., but we actually left at 5:00 p.m. The tour was supposed to last a total of 5 hours, with a return at 9:30 p.m., but because we didn’t leave until 9:00 p.m. and there was so much traffic, we arrived in Athens at 10:45 p.m. after a trip that took almost 2 hours!

The tour was well organised and very professional. Petros our guide was absolutely amazing !! Very informative, and a great personality, engaged with the whole group and made the tour extremely enjoyable.

Our tour guide Stavvie was incredible. She timed our your well, ensured breaks and shade were accessed and most importantly, had a wealth of historical knowledge.

We went on the English speaking tour and had Vaso as our guide. She was extremely knowledgeable about the monasteries the local area and geology which was an added bonus. Inside the chapels, is the most beautiful artwork and intricate carvings I have ever seen. For me, my favourite places were St Barbara and St Stephan. Everywhere you look there is so much history and so much work that has gone into building these sanctuaries. I 100% recommend this tour. Is it a long day? Yes it is. Is it worth it? 1000% yes. Book the tour, you will not be disappointed.

The tour of Meteora was great, but the meal was very disappointing—it took less than 20 minutes, and the food was bland; the chicken was very dry and cold, and the spinach pie tasted like it had been reheated.
