The GVB ticket is really great. We were able to switch quickly and easily between the METRO, bus, and tram, and got from one place to another quickly throughout the entire trip. Checking in and out on the trams is a bit of a hassle, but that has nothing to do with the ticket. The price is unbeatable, too.

The system is actually supposed to be secure enough to prevent something like that from happening. This was the first time it happened to us in Amsterdam. In other cities, such as Barcelona, Vienna, Prague, etc., it has always worked, and we’ve never been disappointed.

It was very convenient to use public transportation. With a single ticket, we were able to get from A to B within Amsterdam without any problems. In terms of cost, it’s definitely cheaper to buy a ticket valid for a certain period of time, and you can use buses, trains, and the subway.

Okay. But it's hard to scan because Apple Wallet opens as soon as you hold your phone up to the scanner. Then, however, the QR code can't be scanned. An Apple Wallet integration would be perfect.
