Yehliu Geopark is located on a narrow promontory extending approximately 1,700 metres into the sea along Taiwan's northern coast.

The park contains around 180 mushroom rocks, with the Queen's Head among its most famous formations.

Yehliu's unusual landscape was created through a combination of marine erosion, weathering, and crustal movement over millions of years.

The park's geological formations include mushroom rocks, candle rocks, ginger rocks, potholes, tofu rocks, and sea caves.
