If you’re into history, this tour is GOLD. Went with my partner and legit learned a TON about Dubai before all the shiny skyscrapers. Our guide, think his name was Mansoor, totally knew his stuff. He even paused so we could grab some water when I looked like I might MELT (July heat is wild). Loved the tiny spice shop—smelled like my grandma’s kitchen. Only thing: don’t expect to take tons of pics inside the mosques, but so worth it for the stories you’ll hear. 100% recommend if you want to see the REAL Dubai.

Came with my mom and aunt – we’re all big on markets & food, so the spice souk part was our FAVE. Guide was super patient with us, even let us stop for fresh juice (could not have survived otherwise, it was sooo hot). Wish we’d had more time at the gold souk tho, felt a bit rushed there. Still, really cool peek into old Dubai – not what I expected at all!

Mansoor was a great guide for our family in this tour.

I went solo and was a bit nervous but our guide made everyone feel like friends. The river cruise bit is short but such a nice break from the sun. Loved trying all the dried fruits in the market! Didn’t love the crowds (esp. at the gold souk) but that’s part of the experience I guess. 5 stars from me.

This was my favorite part of our Dubai trip! We went as a family (kids 8 & 10) and the guide was GREAT with them, even got them some sweet treats from the market. The mosque visit was a highlight. Note: gotta cover up shoulders/knees, they’ll lend you scarves if you forget. Loved every bit!
