We had a fantastic time exploring the magical, bioluminescent worlds of AYA Universe. Every single room offers a uniquely immersive surprise, especially the gravity-defying reverse waterfalls and the endless cosmic mirror rooms that look spectacular on camera.Huge thanks to Headout for making the entry process incredibly quick and hassle-free. Purchasing the tickets took under a minute, and scanning the digital vouchers at the gate allowed us to start our journey without any delay. It was a beautifully organized, self-paced day out that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique attraction in Dubai!

We visited the Museum of the Future as a group of three and really enjoyed the experience. We especially liked how each floor was organized around a different theme, which made exploring the museum interesting and easy to follow. Our favorite part was the first chapter, especially the deck with the beautiful view. It was such a unique experience and definitely one of the highlights of our time in Dubai. Would recommend visiting!

teamLab Phenomena is a project that sets the stage for wonder right from the start: the giant white building on the shore of Saadiyat Island looks, in itself, like an alien spacecraft washed ashore—not a single right angle, just flowing forms. And I have to admit, what’s inside fully lives up to the architecture’s ambitions—though not quite as successfully in every respect.
To be honest, the museum’s wet zone didn’t really grab me. But further on, the real magic began. The foam installation—clouds of soapy foam living their own lives behind glass. An experience that’s absolutely impossible to capture in a photo.
And I have a special fondness for the halls with light and laser installations. Flickering beams cutting through the darkness create luminous objects—this is where you truly feel the reason teamLab exists at all.
The rooftop café deserves a special mention—the Japanese teahouse Anko, which seamlessly extends the museum’s atmosphere rather than disrupting it. The veranda overlooking the sea and the sunset is the perfect spot to catch your breath after the flood of impressions inside. Wagashi, tea, coffee—everything is prepared with the same meticulous care as the installations, and you don’t feel for a moment that you’ve stepped into a typical museum café. An added bonus: you can access the terrace even without a ticket to the museum itself, so it works well as a standalone evening destination.

The Zayed Museum in Abu Dhabi is, without exaggeration, one of the most powerful cultural experiences of recent years. The building’s overall silhouette evokes the wing of a falcon in flight—here, the architecture functions as part of the narrative, not merely as a shell.
The exhibition is structured around the figure of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan—the founder of the UAE—and this gives the museum a completely different emotional tone compared to traditional history museums. Six permanent galleries take visitors through 300,000 years of the region’s history—from Paleolithic stone tools to the formation of the modern state. A particular highlight is the 18-meter-long replica of a bronze boat, recreated using traditional techniques, along with a collection of personal items and archival materials that make history tangible rather than abstract.
In front of the museum lies Al Masar Garden, where the landscape is divided into desert, oasis, and urban zones. A stroll through the garden is a rare occasion when the museum experience begins outdoors rather than at the entrance to the exhibition hall.
The visit culminated at the observation deck—in the evening, when the city’s lights had already begun to come on. The panoramic view of Abu Dhabi from above looks completely different at this hour: the austere architecture of the daytime gives way to soft golden-blue lighting, and the entire journey—from ancient artifacts to the modern metropolis outside the window — suddenly comes together into a single narrative of how the past flows into the present.
I definitely recommend setting aside at least 3–4 hours for your visit and planning it so that it ends in the evening—the view from the observation deck is well worth it.
