SoloVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5The museum is beautiful huge 2 hours are not even enough, must be flagged that a tour guide is a must because other than that people would just wander around losing time and effort, it could take up to 4 hours, tot ankh amon's room is beautiful unreal.EEl M
SoloVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5A wonderful visit, the museum was sensational in every way. The cleanliness, the spaciousness, and the layout of the various exhibits give the museum an extraordinary dimension. Thank you.PPeter H
CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5Skip-the- Line-Tickets are the way to go. We turned up 15min early and simply joined the entry line, showed our QR code and we were in this avoiding the large line at the ticket office.AAnelia C
CoupleVerified bookingYesterday5/5The museum itself was absolutely incredible, but my experience with Headout was awful. I purchased two identical tickets, but only one of them scanned successfully at the entrance. I was told that the other ticket had apparently already been used on 22 October at 13:00, even though my visit was on 28 October 2026 and I had not used it before. As a result, I had to purchase another ticket on the spot, which was both frustrating and disappointing. I contacted Headout’s customer service through the app, but received no response or assistance whatsoever. When something goes wrong with a booking, you expect customer support to help resolve the issue, especially when you have already paid for your tickets. Unfortunately, I was left to deal with the problem myself and pay again. The museum, on the other hand, was incredible. It is absolutely enormous and can feel quite overwhelming, so I highly recommend getting the audio guide to help you navigate the experience and make the most of your visit. In short: the museum was fantastic, but Headout’s ticketing experience and customer service were extremely disappointing. I would recommend visiting the museum, but I would think twice before booking through this app again.AAngus G
CoupleVerified bookingLast week5/5Lets get the good things out in the open. Tickets worked perfectly and the BEST time to go is before the hordes are taken through in waves by flag waving guides. The building is futistic and modern but the staircase is pretty inaccessible to the infirm and many of the statues are not named. There is plenty of space around each exhibit. The boat reconstruction was probably the most interesting. And the bad.... well, terrible signage with far too many assumptions. There is no clear flow of time and little or no information on how, when or where exhibits were found. The moving staircase is horrid with sudden change to elevation, particularly on down sections. The shop is poor value with ghastly, tacky souvenirs and overpriced books Would I visit again? Yes, again first thing. Would I engage a guide? No. Totally unnecessary for anyone with an interest in history. Save your money for a guide to the Pyramids and choose as small a group as possible
