This is a smaller tour, and as such, there is a much more personal "feel" to the experience. Our guide, Alex, an exceptional young woman, provided a thorough and educational description and explanation of the land and how the local Native Americans view, respect, and live in the area. She provided an extensive history of the region, explaining local superstitions and traditions. The walk through the canyon was fantastic, while the lighting for photography was almost perfect.
NOTE: While my two grown sons, wife, and I had no problem navigating the narrows, this is not for everyone. There are ladders to be climbed, and in places it does become very narrow.

Want to really connect? Ready to be one with the actual earth? This is it. This is exactly how you realize the beauty of it all. We will be back next year, and probably every year after. What a great way to see beauty and be grateful.
