This was an extraordinary visit to an extremely well-preserved site, frozen in time. The survival of so many wooden artifacts—cots, room panels, and cupboards—brings the daily life of the era vividly to life. It is incredible to think that 80% of the ancient town remains buried beneath modern Ercolano.

This was a great day! We first made the 1 hour coach trip to Pompei with our guide, Chiara. She was very friendly, welcoming and professional, giving interesting descriptions of landmarks as we travelled. Pompei was so interesting. We then went to Vesuvious- a challenging walk for my wife and myself, but well worth it. Fantastic views from the summit. Well organised and friendly staff- a great experience. Do it- you won't be disappointed.

A really good trip! Well organised and David was an excellent guide. He explained where the most interesting parts of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello were. If you're doing this trip, I would recommend buying the extra trip to Ravello. It's truly beautiful. A great day out! Many thanks.
