Witness a truly splendid dance performance as German Cornejo and his dance company set the stage on fire with a sultry showcase of the Tango!

Why You Should Watch Tango After Dark

Tango After Dark is a seductive and emotional show that dives into the roots of Argentine tango. It has intricate choreography that is brought to life by talented dancers. The performance is set to the melodious music of Astor Piazzolla, who was a legendary tango composer. German Cornejo is the World Tango Champion since 2018. The show features him and his top-notch dance company. The show also has seven musicians and two fantastic singers who play Nuevo Tango by Piazzolla. The sensuous music forms the perfect background to the intimate performance. Decked in rich satin and sequins, the dancers take you on a journey of emotions, including sorrow, euphoria and lustfulness.

The Show

The show features a set of five couples that dance to some of the most euphonious music played live by a band on stage. The dancers are incredibly talented and display their technical mastery in the performance. Full of swirls, twirls, and lifts, performed while wearing beautiful stiletto heels, Tango After Dark depicts an intense passion and has titillating undertones. The stars of the show are Cornejo and Galeassi, who are nimble on their feet and showcase incredible athleticism through their dance. In the climax of the show, they perform a spectacular one-handed lift, with Galeassi executing a split that goes past the 180-degree mark!
