I'm travelling alone so I wasn't sure how long I'd stay in the park and was suprised to see i was there for 2 hours, being surrounded by nature and exquisite design by Gaudi was super healing and grounding. It was a wonderful trip to Park Güell in Barcelona. There were a lot of people on the steps, but it was worth it—the park is very large, so the crowds naturally spread out. There’s a beautiful view of Barcelona, and the audio-guided tour was also excellent and informative. I highly recommend this trip; you can take lots of great photos, even of the lizard, despite the crowds!!

Admission to Parc Güell went smoothly, including the audio guide, whereas for the Sagrada Familia, accessing the audio guide was a bit more difficult because, since the ticket wasn’t purchased on the official website, it wasn’t available except through an email address provided by the on-site guides and by downloading the site’s official app

Wear comfortable walking shoes as this experience involves a fair amount of walking on uneven paths and multiple stairways.

During the summer months, it is recommended to bring hats/caps to protect from the sun, and water for hydration due to high temperatures.

Park Güell

For visitors with mobility problems, Park Güell offers two free wheelchairs for hire (subject to availability).

The tourist coach car park has three places for people with reduced mobility.

Available facilities: paid parking and restrooms.

Avoid loose-fitting clothes and slippers on the rides for your safety.

Children under 90cm in height can enter for free; those between 90–120cm require a child ticket, and anyone over 120cm must purchase an adult ticket.

Park Güell

During peak season, April to August, expect a considerable wait time at entry.

Note: Park Güell has three entrances—choose what suits you! Av. del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya has escalators (though it’s steep), Carretera del Carmel (nº 23) is ideal for coach drop-off, and Carrer d’Olot brings you right into the Monumental Zone.

If you'd like to skip a lot of climbing and stairs, a great option is to take public transport like Bus #24 or grab a taxi. This will get you to the entrance at Carretera del Carmel, which is just a short 100 meters from the bus stop. You'll find the area with the monuments only another 100 meters in, and mostly flat 200-meter stroll!

Children under 6 can enter for free, they just need free tickets. For a seamless entry, book their free tickets during checkout.

Guests are allowed to bring outside food and water into the venue. However, they must consume it in the designated picnic areas only.

The audio guide is available on the Headout app. Instructions to download will be shared with your ticket, and you can also access them offline. Do bring your own headphones.
