    What our guests say

Went up with my partner on a kinda chilly morning, but the cable car was warm and not packed at all. We spun slowly as we went up so everyone got a good look (almost missed my fav bit—city on one side, flat blue ocean on the other, wild!). Top was WINDY so bring a jacket, even if it’s hot down below. Coffee at the cafe was just ok but the views made up for it. Spent about 2 hours wandering, saw a dassie (those little mountain critters, so cute). Would go again but maybe later in the afternoon for sunset vibes.

Table Mountain was on my bucket list since forever and it totally delivered. Took my mom (she’s 68!) and she managed fine, even with the steps at the top. Cable car staff were suuuper friendly and made everyone laugh. Whole thing felt safe. We got lucky with weather—clear, sunny, no mist. Could see all the way to Robben Island! Had to queue for like 20min to get down, not tooo bad. Pro tip: selfie stick is a must, the views are EPIC!

Brought the whole fam, even my grumpy teen, and EVERYONE had a blast. The cable car is super smooth, and the guides cracked some jokes that actually kinda landed. Got there early to dodge crowds (good move), but by noon it was sooo packed. Views up top are wild—Cape Town looked tiny! Don’t skip the nature walk trails, saw a massive lizard (no idea what kind). Only bummer: can’t take pics inside the cable car (windows too reflective).

Went solo cuz my sis chickened out (she hates heights lol), but honestly, it wasn’t scary at all. The rotating floor is a cool touch but can feel a bit weird if you’re not expecting it. Super touristy at the top, lots of people snapping pics, but still space to sit and chill. The café line was kinda slooow, prices a bit much for a sandwich. Still, worth it for the insane views. Not sure I’d do it again but glad I went.

Went up Table Mountain with my mum and brother – honestly, I was a little freaked out at first (heights = eek!), but the cable car felt suuuper safe. The windows fogged up a bit cuz of the morning mist but once we got to the top… WOW. Views for miles, and the city looks soooo tiny. Brought snacks (food up there is $$) and found a quiet spot to just chill. Only downside: queues to get down were LONG. Still, totally worth it for the pics and the tiny dassies running around. Don’t forget sunscreen, the wind up there is sneaky.
