The food was very good; I recommend the salmon. The areas we visited may not have been very pretty compared to other cruises we've taken, but the city's appearance isn't up to the cruise line. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very relaxed and romantic.

We enjoyed the cruise on the Danube and seeing the city from a different perspective. The crew treated us well. I would recommend the cruise. One thing we didn’t like was that when we made the reservation, the menu didn’t match what was offered on the boat, but once we were on board, we went ahead with it anyway. I’d like to make a comment about the first course (Andalusian gazpacho): we’re from Spain, specifically the south, and that was by no means Andalusian gazpacho—it was a heavily seasoned tomato soup similar to a pasta sauce. When people from other countries visit Spain, they’ll notice the difference. The rest of the menu was good.

It was a lovely way to finish off what has been a wonderful first visit to Vienna. The departure point was easy enough to find, although the office where we should have collected the tickets had closed early, but this was sorted out as we boarded. The meal was enjoyable, although the courses were spaced out throughout the journey. We went down and bought some chips to keep us going before the main course arrived. The two waiters serving the drinks and food on the top deck were kept very busy. We didn't spot any of the well-known landmarks but enjoyed seeing other buildings and shipping, such as houseboats and river cruise ships previously seen on TV. The lock was an interesting experience and it was great to see the sunset over the Danube, and the lights along the canalside as darkness fell. Would recommend the trip.

The atmosphere and the boat ride were wonderful. The staff on site were friendly and very efficient. The meal we ordered was fantastic. Unfortunately (and this was the case for some guests), the start was a bit confusing. According to the email, we were supposed to pick up the tickets at the booth. But the ticket counter was closed. That’s why “only” 4 out of 5 stars

The view is beautiful, and enjoying it from the boat is a wonderful experience; however, the dinner is of very poor quality—they should improve the food.
