The Alcazar was wonderful, though we couldn't see all of it due to renovations. I missed having benches to sit on during the route; the few there were were occupied.

We visited Alcazar in Sevilla with Isabel as our guide. To say Isabel was the best guide we've ever had is an understatement. Isabel was very informative and knowledgeable and explained everything simply. She tied the different centuries and eras together very well and gave the history of Alcazar like a TV soap. We'd highly recommend Isabel and will be back.

The architecture in the Alcazar was beautiful. Whilst the guide was good, unfortunately her microphone was too far from her mouth and picked up other noises too easily and also broke up a few times

Food and drinks are not permitted inside the monument (except for water and food for babies).

Alcohol, drugs, and intoxicated behavior are strictly prohibited.

Weapons, sharp objects, and large bags or luggage are not allowed.

Pets are not permitted, except for guide dogs or emotional support dogs with valid documentation.

Selfie sticks, flash photography, and tripods are not allowed.

Entering barefoot and bachelor or bachelorette party groups are not permitted.

Accessibility

The Alcázar of Seville is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

Guide dogs and emotional support animals are allowed within the Alcázar, subject to producing the official documentation.

Additional information

You must arrive at the designated entry point 15 minutes before your scheduled time to complete check-in.

Your guide will only speak the language you've chosen your tour in.

Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Seniors over 65 and students between the ages of 14 and 30 get reduced prices. However, you must provide official supporting documentation to avail of this discount.

You will need to pass through airport-style security when entering the premises.

Your ticket does not include a visit to the Royal High Room.

Visits to the gardens are subject to weather and safety conditions and may be closed without prior notice.

The monument is vacated at 17:45 from October to March and at 19:45 from April to September.

If you choose a small group tour, your group will have no more than 15 people.
