Experience the best of Palacio de las Dueñas

When we arrived, I showed our reservation to the woman at the entrance, who printed our tickets for us. The tour was spectacular—the gardens were beautiful, there were so many incredible details, and both the exhibition and the apartment were absolutely wonderful. We went right when it opened to take advantage of the cool morning air, and we were glad we did—we spent three wonderful hours there.

Of all the places in Seville, this was one of the most atmospheric. Not a huge palace where you find yourself checking your watch after twenty minutes, but a place where you’re happy to linger and simply wander through at your own pace. Beautiful courtyards, many lovely details, and at the same time that sense of history and lived life. I was particularly impressed by the photographs of the Duchess: not stiff or staged like in a museum, but lively, stylish, and full of personality. It is precisely through these images that the house feels completely different—like a place where people truly lived, loved, welcomed guests, and made history. The audio guide was very well designed: enough background to put everything into context, but without being overloaded with facts and figures. At some point, I stopped taking pictures and just looked. In the end, I didn’t feel like I’d just seen another tourist attraction, but rather that I’d gotten a little closer to Seville. For me, it’s definitely one of the most impressive places in the city.

A wonderful experience! The skip-the-line combo ticket gives you immediate access to the Alcázar, the Cathedral, and the Giralda. The sites are magnificent, and everything runs smoothly for an unforgettable visit. (I recommend booking a morning slot for the Alcázar—a 3-hour tour—followed by a time slot for the Cathedral and Giralda around 3 p.m., which gives you time for a lunch break.)

The place is amazing, very well-maintained and clean. The area is huge, but they provide maps, and there are even more maps scattered throughout the entire area. There are security guards inside the grounds as well, along with surveillance cameras. Everything there is great. There’s just one exception, which in my opinion fell short: the coffee shop is located in a great setting, but the level of service and the food served don’t justify the high prices. It’s a shame, because it could easily earn 5 stars.

It's an enchanting place; you can easily lose yourself in the vastness of the Real Alcázar. The gardens, with their lush greenery and reflections on the water, are magnificent. The interior rooms are very interesting. Admission was straightforward.

I was blown away by the magnificent architecture, the sheer scale of the complex, and the stunning gardens. Simply magnificent!

It was a positive experience—we managed to get into both places ahead of schedule. Both were crowded given the time of year and the large number of tourists. It was still worth it, though.

A wonderful tour, with sites steeped in history. The only thing missing is a map of the tour; the QR code is only available on-site, so you can't print it out before you arrive...
