Let me just start this by saying that Plitvice park/ Lakes is absolutely breathtaking. A beauty worth to visit, leave, breat it and fully enjoy! That said, there are a few things worth mentioning: Well maintain all areas for the hike around the lakes, everything from bathrooms to restaurants, tram and boats are kept in mint condition. Our tour guide Samantha, answered all our questions and gave us suggestions as we ask for things to do around the area. As per our request, she suggest a place to have lunch after our morning tour, and it was amazing local food. Samantha kept a good pace, didn't rush us, informed us ahead of time if a break was possible or when we have time to stop and take pictures . Our group had all ages and everyone's was accomadated. The pictures are not as closed as the beauty of this natural beauty. Many people come for a day, we bought two day tickets, so we could enjoy the surroundings town and river Korna. If you can, I recommended this your vacation time is more joyful and less hectic. Thank you Samantha ;) Angela and Scott Horodyski

We absolutely loved our visit to Plitvice Lakes! We arrived right at opening time (7:00 AM) at Entrance 2 and chose Route H, which turned out to be the perfect decision. The scenery was breathtaking from start to finish – truly one of the most beautiful places we've ever visited. The only downside was the waiting time for transportation within the park. Although we were the first people at Station 2, we had to wait more than 30 minutes for the first shuttle/train to Station 3. The same thing happened with the boat and the final shuttle: around 30 minutes of waiting each time. It wasn't because of large crowds, but simply because there didn't seem to be enough shuttles running.I would definitely recommend starting from Entrance 2 rather than Entrance 1. When we reached the Lower Lakes, we saw huge numbers of people coming from the opposite direction, and the queues there must have been quite overwhelming.Apart from that, it was an amazing experience and a place I would highly recommend visiting!

Here’s a warm and sincere review: A huge thank you to Dalibor for this wonderful tour of Plitvice National Park. Throughout the day, he demonstrated great professionalism, tremendous kindness, and a thorough knowledge of the park. We were traveling with someone with limited mobility, and Dalibor showed remarkable patience, kindness, and consideration, adjusting the pace of the tour without ever making us feel rushed. Thanks to him, we were able to fully enjoy the exceptional beauty of this place under the best possible conditions. We recommend Dalibor without the slightest hesitation to anyone who wants to explore Plitvice with a passionate and caring guide. Thank you again for this wonderful experience! If this review is intended for Google or TripAdvisor, I can also make it a bit more spontaneous and impactful, while still remaining sincere.

Plitvice National Park is magnificent from start to finish. The scenery is truly breathtaking. The photos speak for themselves—it feels like you’re in the setting of a fantasy movie. However, I recommend looking into the different possible routes before you arrive, as there are several entrances. Also, it gets extremely crowded, which sometimes makes it feel like you’re on a “highway.” So be prepared for some—or even a lot of—waiting to board the train or boat, as well as some jostling. It’s also important to note that the site is not at all accessible to people in wheelchairs or with strollers. In fact, the tour takes place almost entirely on wooden walkways with gaps and steps. Nevertheless, this experience remains unforgettable, as it reveals the fragility of the ecosystems on which we depend.

We booked a guided tour through GetYourGuide, which allowed us to visit and leisurely enjoy the beauty of the area. The falls aren’t very impressive at this time of year—mid-July—but the gorges are stunning and breathtaking. We were impressed by the color and clarity of the water. The walkways are comfortable to walk on, and the photo spots are very well laid out. It’s worth noting, however, that there’s a significant elevation difference between the Upper Lakes and the Lower Lakes, which requires a good level of physical fitness. The parking areas are very well marked, and fortunately, they’re shaded. We also appreciated the boat transfer upon arrival, as well as the train and bus that facilitate travel between locations. The site deserves to be fully preserved, given how fragile it is.
