CoupleVerified bookingLast week5/5Outstanding Tour & Thoughtful, Attentive Guide! We booked a day tour to Plitvice Lakes National Park from Zadar, and it exceeded our expectations. The bus ride was smooth and comfortable, and our guide was wonderful. Because we had landed early that morning and had a sleepless night prior, we were pretty exhausted and just wanted a quiet, low-key experience rather than a super interactive tour. Our guide was incredibly observant and respectful—recognizing that we needed rest, they kept their voice gentle and gave us plenty of space to relax without feeling pressured to chat. At the same time, the guide was extremely knowledgeable about the park and expertly adapted the routes and walking pace to suit our group. Plitvice itself is breathtaking. The walk around the lakes is a must-do—it offers a total reset for your mind, crisp fresh air, and vibrant natural colors that don't even look real. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Zadar!TTatjana P
GroupVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5We visited Plitvice Lakes in August 2026. We bought entrance tickets on the website without any issues. The operator reminded us of the upcoming trip the day before. We arrived at the site around 8 AM, left the car in the paid parking lot, and went to the stop for the small train that took us to the start of the routes. A park employee recommended a route suitable for our group. It is very easy to navigate the park, as signs and maps are installed everywhere. There are toilets and benches along the trails. The ticket also includes a boat ride on the lake. At the boat's arrival point, there is a large area with tables and benches, cafes, and toilets, where you can rest and have a snack. After that, the route continues. To say that the park is beautiful is an understatement! The views of the lakes and ponds, waterfalls large and small, the forest, and the mountains are absolutely breathtaking! When heading to the park, don't forget comfortable clothes and shoes! Thank you for an excellently spent time in nature!!!IInna T
CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5Paradise on earth! This is the best place I have ever seen in my life! Among dense green forests, between cliffs lie sixteen lakes, connected to each other by dozens of waterfalls and streams. The unreal turquoise color of the lakes is incredibly impressive. The water is so clear that you can see stones, tree roots, and fish swimming peacefully through it. Wooden bridges lead you right over the water, and every turn reveals a new picture — another lake, another waterfall. Nature has created a small piece of a fairy tale here! I lived for a few hours in another world: a very clean, peaceful, and untouched one. There are places you just visit, and there are those that remain in your heart forever! This is how untouched nature should be all over the earth! This is how we should protect, cherish, admire, and fear harming every animal and every plant, because we, humans, are only guests on this planet!HHélène L
GroupVerified bookingLast week5/5The staff at the reception desk scanning electronic tickets were really nice to us, even though we arrived an hour and a half late for our reserved tour time. Our visit, which started at Entrance 2 - Route H, was simply fantastic! The beauty of the park and the incredible color of the lakes are the highlights of the visit. We went on September 22, and there was very little wait for the bus and the boat. We took a break at P3 (the boat stop) and grabbed a bite to eat at the bistro. The food was good: hamburger, fries, prosciutto sandwich, coffee, and beer. It was a very pleasant break. And the end of Route H is just as breathtaking! What a beautiful day.EEmilie P
FamilyVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5Exceptional park of incredible beauty! I highly recommend Route H, which is really top-notch. You start at the top, where there are magnificent little waterfalls everywhere and breathtaking viewpoints. The first part takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes, then you take the boat to cross the park and finish at the bottom with the big waterfall. It is extremely crowded at the bottom by the big waterfall because all the routes merge, and honestly, it's not really worth it. We much preferred the upper part of the park. Most importantly, go there at 7:00 AM as soon as it opens because there is no one there. From 10:00–11:00 AM, it gets packed and impossible to move around, which really ruins the experience.
