I loved it because we didn't have to wait in line and it's very easy to get there; we had no trouble getting in. Once inside, they gave us an audio guide. It's a truly excellent activity—highly recommended—and one of the most fascinating stories in France.

Easy to purchase tickets, catacombs experience was exceptional. The paid cruise however was a nighmare. We had to get the Metro to the wharf, but when we got to where the cruise started the queue went for miles ! We decided to sit and wait rather than to queue in the heat, but the queue kept getting longer and longer until it extended over the bridge. After waiting for in excess of an hour and a half, we decided to forego our paid for cruise. What a disappointment 😞 My recommendation would be to do the catacombs experience and further the cruise, you'd be better off doing the hop on hop off Batobus.

My first time here was about 25 years ago, what a massive difference!!! After a huge renovation, this place became one of the most interesting and unique places in Parts, no wonder why it's so popular. I hardly managed to find tickets for me and my daughter more than a week before we flew to Paris. It's a teaching experience, and you don't feel claustrophobic at all (unlike my first visit there) because you are walking with earrings that "feel" exactly where you are and tell you what you see.

The catacombs were amazing to see and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Paris. I booked my ticket last minute and got lucky to get one with Headout, the process of receiving my ticket was incredibly easy and I had no issues redeeming at the door. The audio guides in the catacombs also made it very easy to understand the history and significance of the catacombs, the guides are available in English, French, Spanish and German I believe.

Recommendation from my daughter and son they did forget to tell me is 131 steps on a spiral staircase. You need to go up and down and there is a lot of walking but it was fine with me. I'm a healthy 72-year-old it's an interesting part of French history and how someone thought of unique way to honor 6 million people that have died mostly from illness
