Linda did an excellent job of bringing history to life with her various explanations about the exterior of Notre Dame. She did so in an animated and colorful manner which captured my (historical) imagination. There were several teens and a young boy in our group and they even paid attention! I was sorry when the tour ended. Go Linda! One special note: Linds mentioned to a couple of the teen girls that they would need to cover their shoulders and part of their legs so there was concern about how they would do that since they didn't have any scarfs or coverups. As it turns out, an employee of Notre Dame had a large bin and was handing out free scarves to those who needed them when one got through the long queue to enter. I assume they do this on a daily basis but couldn't verify?

We really liked our guide, Giuri, who was very knowledgeable about the history of Paris, very friendly, and an excellent communicator. We regret that the advertising is misleading regarding admission to the cathedral. The tour did not end with direct access to the cathedral, as suggested. Your company didn’t need to create that false impression.

The best part was Yuri, the guide. He was very friendly, attentive, and professional despite the terrible heat and the fact that he wasn't feeling well. We'd definitely take another tour with him. The worst part was the misleading advertising for the tour. We booked it because we were supposed to get priority access without waiting in line at Notre Dame, but in the end we had to wait in line just like everyone else. An intolerable fiasco. You are not a reliable company. We won’t be doing any activities with Headout again.
