Located at 11 Nicholson Street, Carlton, the Main Entrance is directly opposite the Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens. This entrance is fully wheelchair and stroller accessible, with wide automatic doors, step-free access, and ramps leading into the bright foyer. It is the primary entry point for all visitors, including those arriving by tram, bus, or car. Accessible ticket counters and security checks are available here.

Underground Carpark Entrance

Accessible via Rathdowne Street or Nicholson Street, this entrance connects directly from the museum’s underground carpark to the main foyer via elevators and ramps. It is ideal for visitors arriving by car, families with prams, and guests with mobility needs. Clear signage guides you from the carpark to the museum’s main level.
