From Port Douglas: Scenic Train & Coach Guided Tour with Transfers

What to bring

• Wear comfortable shoes and bring sunglasses and a sun hat.

• Outside drinks and smoking are not allowed.

Accessibility

• The Kuranda Scenic Rail is wheelchair and pram/ stroller accessible. Please note only  small folding strollers (no higher than 25cm when folded) can be accommodated onboard the carriages.

• Guide dogs are welcome on this experience. Please contact the operator in advance if travelling with an assistance animal and have your handler card available.

Additional Information

• Note: Your transfer from Smithfield Terminal to Freshwater Railway Station may take place on the same coach from Port Douglas or on a separate connecting coach, depending on operational requirements. Your onboard guide will assist you with all transfer details and directions on the day.

• The Kuranda Scenic Rail departs from Freshwater Railway Station.

• Children below 14 must be accompanied by an adult on the Scenic Rail.

• This tour includes round-trip transfers from select hotels in Port Douglas.

• Free car parking is available at the railway station.
