Notre avis ne concernera pas l'intérêt du musée ni la grande valeur artistique, historique et patrimoniale de la chapelle Sixtine, reconnus et appréciés dans le monde entier. En revanche nous voudrions insister sur la gentillesse et la qualité profesionnelle de la guide en français de la visite du vendredi 2 octobre à 13 h. En effet, notre visite venait de commencer avec les explications de la guide sur la chapelle Sixtine lorsque mon épouse a été victime d'un malaise et a perdu connaissance. S'en étant rendu compte la guide est aussitôt intervenue pour demander un fauteuil roulant et l'assistance d'un médecin avant de pénétrer dans le musée avec son groupe. Bien sûr nous n'avons pas fait la visite ce jour là avec elle, même si après l'intervention du médecin à l'infirmerie ma femme se sentait mieux. Cependant, grâce à la compréhension des policier présents, nous avons pu revenir le lendemain, sans faire la queue pour pénétrer dans le batiment. Très touchés par la gentillesse et l'efficacité des personnes qui nous ont aidées, nous tenions à vous faire ce témoignage. Nous sommes évidement repassés à l'agence pour remercier Headout et signaler ce qui nous était arrivé. Jean MINO

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Una experiencia maravillosa gracias a PAOLA LOCCI. Hizo el tour por el Vaticano de una manera excepcional, explicando todo con muchísima claridad y, sobre todo, con una gran emoción y pasión que consiguió transmitirnos durante toda la visita. Se nota que disfruta de lo que hace y que conoce perfectamente la historia y cada detalle de los lugares que nos enseñó. Fue una visita muy amena, interesante y especial. Sin duda, recomendamos a Paola al 100 %. ¡Muchas gracias por hacernos disfrutar tanto de esta experiencia!

We had a fantastic experience touring the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel with Amadeo. He was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and passionate about art, history, and the Vatican’s rich cultural heritage. His explanations were engaging and insightful, helping us appreciate the meaning and beauty behind the masterpieces we saw. Amadeo made the entire tour both educational and memorable. We highly recommend him to anyone visiting the Vatican!

Tour guide was very knowledgeable and great about keeping the tour moving through the exhibits and making sure we caught the pieces that were truly significant. She was great at explaining the exhibits and their meanings. There were a few thousand people flowing through the museum, but I never felt lost in the madness. It would have been great to stay and explore more after the tour was over but our time, my son 's and mine, was already tight.

We booked the skip the line guided tour and Marta was our guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and welcoming. There is so much to see at the Vatican, it is impossible to do it all in one day. I would also recommend climbing the top of St Peters Basilica (this is an extra charge of 10 euros if you don't mind climbing the 500+ steps or 15 euros if you want to get the lift and cut out the first 200 steps. )

The tour with Rudy was so full of details and history. He had good knowledge and Roman and Vatican history. Was able to explain the paintings, the story behind them and also significance w.r.t biblical history. The fact that paintings had purposely had faces of Plato and even MichrlAngelo, Leonardo was an eye opener. If you would like to proceed to St Peters Basilica..you should take an earlier tour before 2 pm

The booking process was very easy and we found our tour guide fairly easy. The tour guide was very knowledgable and we got to see most of the museums and ended at Sistine Chapel. Definitely recommend booking a tour as the queues to just turn up are very long and you could be waiting up to 3 hours to get inside.

Definitely worth booking ahead! I saved so much time by skipping a ticket line that looked more than 100 people long. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared fascinating details about the history of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. The tour was both entertaining and educational. I highly recommend it!

Our tour guide, Barbara was the best. Vatican museum is amazing as it is, but Barbara made the difference between just seeing the paintings and experiencing the arts. She is very knowledgeable about Vatican and the Arts. She explain everything in detail. What an amazing tour guide. Thank you

Strict dress code: knees, shoulders, and back must be covered for all guests.

Big bags and suitcases aren't allowed inside the attraction, but guests can make use of the lockers on site.

When in Sistine Chapel, silence is mandatory and photography is prohibited. Guides will provide all necessary and interesting details before entry.

Photography and the use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the Sistine Chapel.

Power banks are strictly prohibited inside the venue.

Pets and other small animals are not allowed in the venue, with the exception of guide dogs.

Accessibility

This experience is not accessible by wheelchair and pram/strollers.

While the tour is not accessible, the Vatican Museums offer free tickets for visitors with mobility impairments (certified invalidity exceeding 74%) and a companion.

Please note: All guests must pass through airport-style security. During high season and peak hours, the wait time at the security check may be up to 30 minutes.

Purchasing this tour implies an agreement to stick with the assigned guide, without whom you cannot access the Vatican Museums. Opting out or missing the tour means losing ticket rights, without refunds.

Please be aware that during the Jubilee Year, certain areas of the Vatican Museums may be inaccessible due to religious ceremonies. Additionally, entrance to St. Peter's Basilica may also experience unannounced closures.
