While in Chicago to attend a wedding, we wanted to see as much of downtown Chicago as we could. We went on the 6:45 pm cruise. We totally enjoyed it. The City at night is beautiful! We were amazed at the number of buildings you could see along the River. The narrator did an excellent job giving an explanation of the uniqueness of the buildings. It was a beautiful evening and the cruise was amazing. We enjoyed a delicious cocktail. I'm so glad we were able to fit this cruise into our busy schedule. I would highly recommend the 75-Minute Chicago River Architecture Cruise by Shoreline. Friendly staff.

When someone loves their job, it truly shows. Our tour guide Victor was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and clearly passionate about architecture, but particularly that of Chicago. He gave an amazing tour - he was funny, he was thorough, and he personified why people rave about these tours. I would absolutely return to Chicago and do this tour again with different family members who couldn't travel there this time. The boarding process was great, boat was comfortable, and everything was top-notch.

I missed the Shoreline Cruise tour I had booked through Headout, and since I had missed the cancellation deadline, I had to buy a new ticket right there on the pier from Shoreline Cruise. And honestly, I don’t regret doing it—the tour is fantastic, and the guide is very passionate, providing very interesting explanations about the buildings, their history, and their construction, as well as the architects and the challenges they faced. I highly recommend this cruise.

First, it was a beautiful day. That always helps. No less important though, is that Ithe cruise was very informative, and I learned a lot. I now feel more informed, familiar with downtown Chicago, and now have sense of knowing where I am when I see buildings I recognize! We also did the walking architectural tour , and that helps as well.
