Mai ci saremmo aspettati di vedere tanta meraviglia. La conservazione della Reggia di Caserta è perfetta, arredi, quadri e accessori sono splendidi e visibili da vicino. Giardini molto curati e personale molto disponibile e gentile

The Caserta Palace was a neat addition to our Rome/Naples siteseeing. I most enjoyed seeing the items that had actually been used by people who had lived there like the beds, chandeliers, books, chairs, etc. We also enjoyed seeing the grandeur of the marble structures, statues, the chapel, etc. There was a weird modern art showing with contemporary pieces randomly strewn about the castle which felt out of place and distracting - would have preferred those be displayed together in one place rather than interrupting the flow of the historic items. And the "gardens" were mostly long hot stretches of grass with little in the way of statues, fountains or manicured hedges, flowers or palm trees as compared to Versailles. Best to wait in line for the €3 crowded shuttle to take you past the empty stretch to the end where there is more to see, particularly given the current heat wave. But it was neat to see a different city, and example of the life, wealth and politics of European aristocracy. Also the cafe had tasty food & refreshments which were greatly appreciated.

Gita veramnte molto interessante, La guida Valter ci ha trattato come amici di casa, con la professionalità e descrizione durante la visita. Non ci ha stancato con elenco di date e nome che potrebbere rendere la visita noiosa, ma ha creato una reciproca discussione sugli avvenimenti principali con anche alcuni anedoti che ha creato una vsita veramente impagabile. La sua piena conoscenza degli argomenti e la sua semplicità ha reso la visita al top. Sono passate due ore e non ci siamo accorti. Bravi per organizzazione ma soprattutto bravo Valter per la sua professionalità.

La Guida di nome Valter è stato molto bravo e simpatico. Abbiamo fatto un bel tour con ampie e chiare spiegazioni di tutto ciò che abbiamo visto. Certo un edificio/monumento di queste fattezze è un'opera incredibile. Oltre al genio di Vanvitelli ed alla mente illuminata dei Re Borbone....bisogna rendere merito agli operai, artigiani, scalpellini, marmisti, ebanisti, scultori, pittori, giardinieri e tanti Altri che hanno contribuito alla realizzazione di tanta opulenza e bellezze la. Credo non ripetibile si giorni nostri.

Ein unvergessliches und imposantes Erlebnis. Die Ticketpreise sind ihren Preis definitiv wert! Sehr weitläufige und gepflegte Anlage. Das Schloss mit seinen zahlreichen Räumen hinterlässt einen wahnsinnigen Eindruck. Man kommt aus dem Staunen nicht mehr heraus. Die Außenanlagen sind nicht weniger beeindruckend und der Englische Garten ähnelt mit seiner Vielfalt an unterschiedlichen Pflanzen, Bäumen und idyllischen Plätzen einem Märchenwald. Eine Besichtigung wert!!

It was very convenient to preorder entry tickets online for the royal palace. Viewing the living quarters of the palace was a joy because the line to enter moved quickly and passing through the large rooms at our own pace was perfect especially with young children. Some rooms were being used to display more contemporary artwork which clashed with the antiquities. Overall, touring 'la reggia' proceeded extremely well.

Ho prenotato la visita guidata per nove persone oltre un mese prima. Ci siamo presentati puntualmente 15 minuti prima nel punto di ritrovo. All'ingresso gli addetti alla reggia hanno iniziato a dire che il qrcode generato dall'app non andava bene e che bisognava recarsi in biglietteria a fare i biglietti per tutti. Sono andata e in biglietteria hanno smentito questa affermazione dicendo che dovevano aspettare la guida la quale avrebbe avuto tutti i nostri biglietti. L'ho fatto presente di nuovo agli addetti all'ingresso i quali, preso atto dell'errata informazione fornita, hanno iniziato a dire di spostarci perché lì non potevamo stare visto che la guida non arrivava. Alle 11.10 è arrivata scusandosi di aver invertito dei cognomi. Organizzazione pessima del personale della reggia che non riesce a dare informazioni basilari sugli accessi, cercando di scaricare la colpa sui visitatori che avevano seguito a puntino tutte le istruzioni fornite dall'app. La guida durante la visita è stato molto bravo e coinvolgente nella spiegazione, rendendola molto interessante. Peccato per l'inizio.

Bigger the palace, bigger the king

The Bourbons of Naples could be considered the overlords of the lands. Step inside their extravagantly furnished home and be baffled by an enormous collection of paintings, drawings, frescoes, books, bronzes, and other objects all around the Royal Apartments. Stop by the Grand Staircase of Honor, the neo-classical Royal Palatine Chapel, the spectacular horse-shoe-shaped Royal Court Theatre, the inspiring Terrae Motus Collection, and another picture gallery showcasing paintings that date back to the 16th century AD.

The beautiful Royal Park

Designed using an innovative ‘telescope effect’, the park is a beautiful space full of fountains, statues, and greenery. Visit the park to check out the French-inspired ‘Parterre’, the majestic Fountain of the Three Dolphins, the godly Fountain of Aeolus, the Fountain of Ceres, and many more wonderful cascades. Stop by the fascinating English Garden, the charming San Leucio Belvedere, and the Carolino Aqueduct, and discover the wildlife sanctuary at San Silvestro Oasis.

What to bring

Have entry tickets and a photocopy of your ID ready for a smooth check-in.

Be prepared for varying weather conditions—inside the palace and out in the gardens, it can get chilly, so pack accordingly.

Comfortable shoes are a must for walking, and don't forget water for hydration and sun protection.

What's not allowed

Leave food, drinks, drones, sharp metallic objects, alcohol, and motorized vehicles behind—they aren’t allowed inside.

Pets (except guide dogs), strollers, large bags, backpacks over 40 x 30 x 10 cm, and umbrellas are prohibited. You can check bulky items in the free cloakroom at the entrance.

Flash photography is forbidden inside, and the dress code requires appropriate attire (no skimpy or indecent clothing).

Accessibility

The palace is wheelchair accessible with ramps and elevators available.

Guide dogs are allowed inside.

Accessible parking spaces are near the entrance for easy access.

Additional information

The Royal Palace of Caserta is closed on Tuesdays, New Year’s Day (January 1), and Christmas Day (December 25).

Check train schedules in advance for a timely trip, as the train from Naples to Caserta takes about 40 minutes, followed by a 5-10 minute walk to the palace.
