Herrschaftsarchitektur ist ja gemacht, um zu beeindrucken und das funktioniert für gewöhnlich auch. Wichtig ist dabei aber, dass man sich immer wieder die Hintergründe vergegenwärtigt. In Berlin haben wir ja ebenfalls eine Reihe von Kolossalbauten anderer Regimes, die ersteinmal beeindrucken und dann gleichzeitig Mahnmale sind, Demokratie und Menschenrechte als höchste Güter der Zivilisation zu pflegen. Mir hat besonders gut gefallen, wie die souveräne Dame, die uns durch das Bauwerk geführt hat, immer wieder deutlich und kritisch die erlebte Gigantomanie historisch eingeordnet hat!

L'esperienza ha pienamente soddisfatto le mie aspettative. Un tour al Parlamento credo sia un "obbligo" quando si visita la città di Bucarest. Gli ambienti che vengono presentati durante la visita sono molto interessanti, si presentano molto bene e la persona che ci ha guidato è stata davvero molto chiara e super disponibile nel rispondere alle nostre domande e curiosità. È stato anche molto preciso nel descriverci come comportarsi all'interno della struttura (è pur sempre un palazzo istituzionale) Esperienza super consigliata.

Parlamentets guide skötte sig bra och hade mycket intressant information om historien och nutiden. Procedurerna att komma in i själva byggnaden tog längre än förväntat men annars löpte det smidigt med gruppen. På bekräftelsen fanns all info men själv hade jag ändå inte läst tillräckligt noggrannt om att man inte får ta en vätskor i huset, så vi tvingades slänga en hel del drycker som vi hade i hettan. En intressant tur som jag varmt kan rekommendera!

I booked the Palace of Parliament tour as a surprise for my spouse and it turned out to be a really exciting and memorable experience. One thing to know is that we didn’t meet directly in front of the building. We met at an office near the Parliament, where we were welcomed by a super cool lady in a motorcycle jacket, with an actual cool motorcycle there too. She checked our documents, gave us wristbands and then escorted us over to the Parliament. Once inside, another Romanian guide took over for the tour itself. We visited some huge halls, rooms, and corridors, and he shared interesting details about the building and its history. The place is really impressive in person, much bigger than you expect even after seeing photos. The only small thing is that I wish we could have seen even more of the building, because it made me even more curious. Still, it was a memorable visit and definitely worth doing while in Bucharest.

There is an opportunity to visit the main landmark of Bucharest. The tour was very well organized. Clear instructions were provided in advance. I would especially like to mention that the company representative sent very detailed and helpful instructions explaining exactly where the meeting point was and what documents were required — in this case, a passport. Thank you very much for the excellent organization. The guide inside the Parliament was also wonderful and very artistic. He showed us everything, explained things in a very interesting way, made the right jokes, and it was honestly fantastic. The only thing that slightly disappointed me was that we did not have the opportunity to visit the session halls of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies. It would have been really interesting to see them, but perhaps this option is available only as part of a longer tour.

The Parliament tour & Therme Bucureşti we're both wonderful experiences & highly recommended. The spa was very relaxing , super clean & offered great food. Only gave 4 stars as the guide who 1st greeted us was not welcoming & curtly dismissed our difficulty finding her. The Parliament guide was fantastic & engaging
