It was amazing. 10/10. I booked the crystal plus package and it was worth it. Only down side about purchasing a ticket this way is that you still have to wait in line to get your ticket. However it is faster than waiting in the line to get the ticket

Everything went very smoothly with our tickets. It was great that we didn't have to join the very long queues to purchase tickets on arrival at the cable car. We had a wonderful visit.

Fantastic experience. I had overnight at airport hotel and chose Nging Ping as way to spend the day. Wonderful views of the mountains, the town, the sea and the airport and so many shades of green in the forests underneath. The wee village quaintly touristy but not rip off prices and I had nice lunch. Walked the many steps to the Big Buddha and strolled the quietness towards the forest trails. Amazing resource for hikers which I am not!!! Mountain mist did not spoil return journey. Cable car entry and exit well organised and efficient.

I had a day to explore Hongkong as my flight was delayed. I chose to visit Ngong Ping cable car and Buddha Statue. Getting the tickets was easy using Headout. It was even cheaper than getting the tickets in person. The Cable Car tour was amazing. The whole experience was fantastic.

Soar above Lantau Island on a scenic 25-minute cable car ride, offering stunning views of rolling grasslands and the South China Sea.

Travel 5.7 kilometers along a bi-cable ropeway between Tung Chung town center and the peaceful Ngong Ping village.

Choose between a one-way or round-trip journey, with cabin options including Standard, Crystal (glass-bottom), or Crystal+ (which is ultra transparent) for an upgraded view.

Most round-trip combos include a standard cabin for the return leg. You can also buy a standard cabin round-trip ticket and get another for free.

Fun Fact: Ngong Ping is home to the world’s second-largest outdoor bronze statue of Lord Buddha – an awe-inspiring sight not to be missed!

It was crowded but the line waiting was not to long. Otherwise the views were outstanding and the ride was very comfortable.

Getting started

Start your journey at Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal. Present your digital or printed ticket at the entrance for validation. Be prepared for a standard security check and carry valid photo ID. Cabins depart frequently throughout the day.

What to expect

Hong Kong’s premier aerial attraction—this 5.7 km bi-cable ropeway connects Tung Chung to Ngong Ping Plateau.

What's not allowed

Guests are prohibited from eating or drinking (except water) inside the cabin.

Smoking is restricted at the venue and inside the cabins.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along on this experience.
