Love the history and amazed at how old these buildings are. Well kept, kind people working and or volunteers. Our structure in Canada is not nearly as old. So great to see these beautiful historic sites in Portugal. Head out was very user friendly, great reminders and QR codes to get in. Thanks

Entry and exit well organised.,Audio description were informative and just enough detail. The additional live video stops were a living recount through the eyes of a prominent participant which really brought the event to life. The seating was a welcome respite. A must do tour

Foi excelente toda a visita em si, processo de entrada e tour dentro do palácio decorreu ágil e sem enchentes. Muito interessante a ligação dos tempos dos reis com os restantes europeus e também as histórias das rainhas!!

Lo que más me ha gustado es la Quintabde Regaleira, un lugar para perderse en todos los enigmas que la rodea. No entiendo porque no venden la entrada solo para eso, te hacen comprar también la del Palacio

Highlight for me was the initation well that looks so strange with its underground tunnel network and Templars connection, as well as the very impressive state rooms of the national palace!

It was an excellent tour, the only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars because we paid extra for audio etc which we found out was complimentary on site .

Sintra was amazing in general. The National Palace was was beautiful on the inside with some great historical displays and videos. Highly recommend!

Grab these tickets to the National Palace of Sintra so you can explore over 1,000 years of Portuguese history. The palace is immediately discernible by its two conical chimneys - a characteristic trait of Sintra itself. With its richly decorated rooms, galleries and corridors, it was a favorite for a succession of Portuguese royal families and their retinues, right until the end of the monarchy in 1910.

Spend your time marveling at how the natural landscape was used to merge Manueline, Gothic, and Mudejar designs. The windows with surmounted arches and walls covered in glazed tiles of geometric patterns are a testament to medieval brushwork and craftsmanship.

What to bring

Carry plenty of water, a hat, and sunglasses if you're visiting in the summer.
