Take to the skies above Aoraki/Mount Cook for a tandem skydive with panoramic views of glaciers, alpine lakes, and snow-capped peaks. Enjoy a scenic flight to altitude before freefalling with your professional Tandem Master, then glide back toward the drop zone under a parachute.
Getting started
Make your way to the designated skydive meeting point and prepare for your tandem experience. After the necessary safety briefing, board the aircraft with your professional Tandem Master and begin your flight over the Mount Cook landscape.
What to expect
Fly over Mount Cook: Enjoy a 10–20 minute flight to altitude with views across Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park, the Southern Alps, glaciers, and alpine lakes.
Take the leap: Jump from your selected altitude and experience 20, 45, or 60 seconds of freefall, depending on the option selected.
Skydive with a professional: Stay securely attached to your trained Tandem Master throughout the experience, from takeoff through landing.
Glide over the Southern Alps: After freefall, open your parachute and enjoy 3–5 minutes under canopy, with more time to take in the surrounding landscape.
Choose your altitude: Pick a 10,000ft, 13,000ft, or 16,500ft jump to customise the intensity and duration of your freefall.
