The theatre is not big, but it has a great atmosphere. The audience as a whole was very engaged. The acting itself was terrific, with a special mention to Avril Maponga (Patty Newby) and Max Potter (Bob Newby). The masterful mix of practical and digital effects, including wiring, projections, and displays, made it a truly unforgettable experience. Moreover, the telling of Henry's backstory is a necessary addition to the lore for any Stranger Things fan. Overall, every aspect of the play is outstanding, and I really recommend it.

We have never seen anything like this on a stage before... The visual effects are absolutely amazing and take your breath away. The storyline is captivating and the performance by the whole cast is incredible. Jack Christou is Henry Creel. You can tell that an actor is amazing when you catch yourself forgetting that you are watching a play and not a real life event. At some point he is coming down from the stage and walks among the crowd and you get the chills. The only thing I can say is BRAVO to everybody involved!

Vedere Stranger things The First Shadow è stata un'esperienza unica. Non solo ci permette di rivedere personaggi noti e amati, ma ne introduce di nuovi e affascinanti. La scenografia è pazzesca e sembrava di essere all'interno dello show, perché mescolava effetti speciali, attori e riprese dall' alto, permettendo una visuale unica e incredibile. Gli attori sono stati eccezionali, ma il protagonista merita davvero mille applausi. Da rivedere.

Facilissimo entrare, l'app Headout molto comoda. Spettacolo fluente e molto bello per gli appassionati Della serie e per riempire "i vuoti". Teatro bellissimo e molto Friendly, ho visto parecchie persone durante la pausa rientrare con calici e bottiglia di vino, carina come opzione! Audio e visibilità perfetta nonostante fossi nel grand circle, scenografia PAZZESCA, un mix di video immersivi che si consolidavano nei cambi scena. Bellissimo!

The special effects create an immersive experience of Hawkins for the audience. The play can be considered as episode zero, a great addition to the series. The actors brought the characters alive in a marvelous way, and all the sounds and music gave the whole experience this eerie feeling very fitting with the story. A must see for every Stranger Things fan! If you have not seen the series yet, this is also a great way to start.

Seeing "Stranger Things: The First Shadow" was an absolutely mind-blowing experience! It’s incredible how they managed to maintain the exact same atmosphere we love in the Netflix series. The story adds so much depth to the lore, and I honestly look at Vecna in a completely different way now. Understanding his origin and why he became what he is changed everything for me. 10/10!

Il mio sogno si è avverato! ✨ Sono stata per la prima volta a Londra e questa esperienza indimenticabile è stata resa possibile dal Phoenix Theatre e da Stranger Things: The First Shadow. È stato semplicemente magico! Fin dal primo momento tutto è stato perfetto: lo staff del teatro è stato incredibilmente accogliente e gentile. C’era anche un buffet dove si potevano comprare cibo e bevande, oltre al merchandising di Stranger Things (non ho resistito e ho comprato due tazze: una per me e una per la mia amica!). Ma la vera magia è iniziata quando lo spettacolo è cominciato. Gli attori sono stati straordinari! Per tutta la durata dello spettacolo mi sono sentita completamente immersa in quel mondo: come se fossi parte della storia, proprio lì sul palcoscenico insieme a loro. È stato così emozionante che ho pianto di gioia. Le lacrime scendevano dai miei occhi, ma ero felicissima. È stata un’esperienza unica, intensa e indimenticabile. Lo consiglio con tutto il cuore! ❤️

Unfortunately we had to leave the performance before the interval due to a medical emergency where we had to call an ambulance for a member of our party. The duty manager, Sam, was fantastic and ensured he and his team did all they could for us - waiting with us for nearly an hour. He suggested that the theatre could look to reschedule our visit and that I would need to contact both you and the Phoenix Theatre to formalise this. El espectáculo verdaderamente mereció la pena. Los actores y actrices son fantásticos, la precuela es muy interesante y necesaria para acabar de entender el personaje de Henry Creel en Stranger Things y el teatro está ubicado en una zona céntrica muy fácil de localizar.

Amazing show. All the performers fitted their roles perfectly and the production was first class. Music/lighting fitted the various scenes very well. There was numerous moments the crowd all clapped in unison during the show
