O musical *O Rei Leão* em Londres é simplesmente uma experiência arrebatadora — daquelas que ficam gravadas muito depois de o pano cair. Desde o primeiro momento, com a icónica abertura “Circle of Life”, o espetáculo conquista completamente o público. A forma como os animais “ganham vida” em palco, através de figurinos engenhosos e coreografias incrivelmente precisas, é absolutamente hipnotizante. Não é apenas teatro — é arte visual em movimento. A encenação é um dos pontos mais fortes: minimalista e grandiosa ao mesmo tempo. Em vez de depender de tecnologia excessiva, aposta na criatividade pura, e isso torna tudo mais mágico. Cada detalhe, desde as máscaras até aos movimentos dos atores, é pensado ao milímetro, criando uma sensação quase espiritual em certos momentos. A música, claro, é outro destaque. As canções clássicas são interpretadas com uma energia renovada e poderosa, e os arranjos ao vivo dão-lhes uma dimensão ainda mais emocionante. Há uma ligação muito forte com o público, que se deixa envolver completamente pela história. As performances são consistentes e cheias de emoção. JS et A CABANE May 8, 2026, 21:28 GMT+5:30 Superb show 👍👍👍 As well for the actors / singers, for the directing, for the masks and the costumes (what a surprise with the elephant ... what imagination with so many of the animals ... bravo ...), and for the decors, and for the music and the musicians ... specially the drums who were in unexpectable but evident places 😉 We were seated at grand circle with a perfect view from above ... and thanks for the binoculars which helped to appreciate every single detail ... Les voix des chanteurs, les costumes, les décors, la musique… absolument tout était incroyable durant cette comédie musicale. Ils ont réussi à nous faire pleurer, malgré le fait que nous connaissions le film par cœur, à nous faire rire et à nous faire chanter. Nous ressortons de cette expérience comme des enfants, des étoiles plein les yeux et l’envie de raconter ce spectacle à toute notre famille et à tous nos amis ! Encore merci pour tout, merci pour cette soirée incroyable et inoubliable ! Nous reviendrons vous voir dès que nous serons de passage à Londres ❤️👑

Fabulous experience! Singing, dancing, acting, costumes stage set and cast were all impeccable. The theatre itself is clean, very comfortable, excellent bar choices (that can be ordered to your seat) and enjoyed the afternoon with a lively crowd. My only complaint is the sound went a bit off during the opening scene (Circle of Life) but otherwise was a top notch experience - my children are still talking about it!

From the start everything was amazing and the performances were the best I've seen, I got to see musicals often and I was waiting to have the chance to see this one in London, maybe my favourite performance was the actress that plays Raffiki, what a marvellous surprise! The kids that were there with me talked about the changing stage and the great acting too. It's an amazing experience that we'll see again.

Great show with incredible costumes and sets: the moving stair, appearing and disappearring from the middle stage, the hyena heads movement, the rolling buffalo charge .... all the staging gives a wonderfull impression of savanna. The story

Atemberaubende Aufführung mit sehr talentierten Darstellern, tollen Stimmen, unfassbare Kostüme. Ab dem ersten Moment bekommt man Gänsehaut und fühlt sich in seine Kindheit zurückversetzt. Bislang eines der besten Londoner Musicals, das ich gesehen habe.
