Es ist ein sehr familienfreundliches Musical, was sich auch im Großteil des Publikums gezeigt hat, da die Geschichte nicht allzu kompliziert, jedoch interessiert gestaltet ist. Sowohl die zahlreichen Kinder als auch die erwachsenen Darsteller haben eine bewundernswerte Performance abgeliefert. Jede Szene war amüsant; vom Anfang bis zur letzten Sekunde. Ich habe das Musical zum ersten Mal in London gesehen und war sehr beeindruckt! Auch die Musik war wunderschön und die meisten Lieder waren mir noch nicht bekannt, bis auf ca. zwei Songs. Ich saß zwar in der letzten Reihe, habe jedoch die ganze Bühne gut überschauen können..

We came from Belgium to Londen to enjoy the musical Matilda. I got the book as a present in 1989 as I was a huge fan of Roald Dahl...and my firstborn was called Mathilde...As she started this year working at GOSH, it was the perfect moment to come with her siblings and see the show. All our expectations were exceeded, we enjoyed every second and the children and all the actors were amazing. The characters from the book really come to life on the beautifull stage. For us, it was an unforgettable evening. You shouldn´t miss it!

El espectáculo es como dice la palabra ESPECTACULAR! Los pequeños actores y actrices son inmejorables. Muy buena escenificación. Los cambios de planos increíbles. Todo todo el espectáculo inmejorable. Solo que si tienes oportunidad no dudes en comprar buenas butacas, en mi caso fue todo a última hora y adquirimos las más baratas. Mi visibilidad fue mala por el añadido que tuve la mala suerte de tener una persona alta delante (adjunto foto para que podáis comprar cuál importante es poder elegir butaca)

I laughed, cried and cheered so much!!! The sheer quality of understanding the needs and wants of each character by their actors is astonishing. Each department excelled, the singing is especially brilliant and the kids are beyond this realm. The fact that even the over the top antagonist is relatably trying to achieve something is just... wow. Makes me love what humans are capable of in a time in which that is not a given. Deep respect!

Das Musical Matilda war einfach unglaublich. Wir haben es von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute genossen: Das Bühnenbild, die Schauspieler und Sänger , die Inszenierung der Story - alles war wundarbar. Mein größtes Kompliment geht an die Darstellerin der Matilda. Einfach perfekt. Dieses Musical sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Selbst meinem 14-jährigen Sohn hat es sehr gefallen.

Het was een fantastische voor stelling! Geweldige acteurs: petje af voor de jonge kinderen. De muziek, het dansen, de zang, de geluidseffecten, het licht. We zaten bovenin, maar hadden heel goed zicht op het podium. Verbazingwekkend hoeveel er van decor werd gewisseld, telkens was er iets nieuws te zien. Dubbel en dwars de moete waard om hierbij aanwezig te zijn geweest!

The story

Matilda - one of the favorite books of my son and of mine, was on the list of 'a show to see' since the day we saw Charlie and Chocolate Factory performance in 2014! Loved the venue full of Matilda's 'wisdom' on the walls, full of the young crowd! Loved especially the performance of the wonderful young actors, but Miss Trunchbull was something else as well!!! The only thing that was quite difficult for me was understanding the words sometimes (this was the case unfortunately with Matilda;, might be this was because English is not my native language, or might be this was caused by the acoustics of the theater. Overall: still it will be the show I will remember for long! Will defitnetly keep in mind that to be Naughty is good sometimes! And that everyone shall keep Daring (greatly) no matter if we are big or small 👍 Thank you to Matilda and all! What was advertised - proved to be true!

I just watched Matilda and walked out of the theatre feeling incredibly uplifted. The whole show left me with such a strong sense of positivity and joy. The storyline is so engaging and creative, and every moment felt lively and full of energy. The performers were fantastic, especially the actress playing Matilda. Her acting was powerful and expressive, and her singing voice was truly impressive，it gave me goosebumps at times. She brought so much personality and spirit to the character. I was also amazed by the stage design, the set changes, and how smoothly the scenes transitioned. The creativity behind the staging made the entire experience feel almost magical. Everything worked together perfectly to create a show that was both visually stunning and emotionally inspiring. It’s one of those performances that leaves you smiling long after it ends. Truly unforgettable!

Jeg ble møtt så fint da jeg kom for å hente ut billettene. Spurte om jeg var med famile, om det var første gang vi skulle se den. Han fortalte at den har gått lenge og så ga han oss en oppgradering på setene❤️ Selve showet var utrolig bra. Vi var imponert over hvor flink skuespillerne var - det var en uforglemmelig opplevelse for oss alle sammen.

We went to see *Matilda* thinking it would be mostly for kids, but we ended up enjoying it so much. The songs, the performances, and the whole production were amazing. From start to finish, it was fun, exciting, and incredibly well done. Definitely recommended for all ages!
